The twins Karl and Erick run a very nice restaurant together . And looked after our table of 6 very well. The food is delicious and well presented . We had some white asparagus with a very nice sauce as a starter and ray as a main course . We had all some deserts as the starters and main courses are not too large . We had three different Bourgogne wine as they only had one bottle of the first one we ordered. All of them were delicious. We will be back there as the food is just excellent!

Decided to try this place out because it was recommended by a friend. The food, wine, and service was fantastic! We ordered the scallop carpaccio and egg for appetizers. The scallop appetizer was soooo good! For his main course my husband ordered the filet of beef and I ordered the haddock (fish). Both were very good as were the desserts - chocolate mousse and clementines with chocolate sauce. Something unique I feel I should note is that we had a 9pm reservation and were on our way home by 10pm. While some people may find this to be a negative, we did not. As expats living in Paris we have found that dining is in Paris is something you often need to commit 2+ hours of time for, especially at the nicer restaurants. But sometimes we just want a really great meal without committing 3 hours of our evening. This was such a pleasant surprise for us at Karl et Erick. We had a wonderful dining experience and did not feel rushed at all. I'm guessing they can turn orders around quicker because the place is fairly small. Make sure you have a reservation! We are so excited to know we have a place in our neighborhood where we can get a fantastic meal and top notch service without having to commit an entire evening. Will definitely be back!

Great dinner- probably one of our two best in Paris. Warm hospitality, neighborhood vibe and fantastic food. Oysters, foie gras, braised beef, steak, veal and scallops were all great. Good desserts and wines, too. Thanks for a great night.

We had a bit of a rocky start. Personally, I was expecting the pumpkin soup to be a little more flavorful, but that might just be my American taste. We made a distinct effort to order our meat á point, and the server repeated it back to us, but when it arrived, it was closer to well done, without a hint of pink. However, when we pointed this out, a new steak was cooked to perfection. And the dessert dégustation was super. So in the end, it was a very good meal, and I recommend it.

The welcome is warm and gracious from the hosts. The room is plain, but has a nice “neighborhood” feel. Most of the dishes were very good although on a occasion there was one or two which missed the mark a bit.

Excellent neighborhood value that was filled with locals by 8PM. Food was good but unremarkable. Ambience also unremarkable. Welcome was warm and service was very good.
