5/10The service was very bad. Half of our order arrived and we waited for the remaining half for 1 hour. We reminded them many times. The toilet was extremely dirty. The food was average.

Nice Alsatian atmosphere and friendly, brusque service. Food was brought out 3 minutes after we were served our aperitifs. Food was under seasoned and just not that good. I was disappointed with my experience here.

The sauces were good, However the meat was tough and rubbery, and the French onion soup had a strange metallic taste, and was extremely salty and watery - like out of a can. The manager was extremely rude and combative when we mentioned the soup, which was so bad it was inedible. Would never go back or recommend this restaurant. Terrible food and service.

Peut être n’avez vous pas apprécié notre soupe à l’oignon car nous avons une recette à l’alsacienne avec du vin blanc ? Par jour, nous servons plus d’une centaine de soupes et tous l’adore. 3/10Very very basic food, tasteless and not cooked well. Even the green salad was not good, full of a really bad oily sauce. I took an Alsatian pasta dish with cheese and it was really oily and without any taste. Not creamy at all as I expected, you could tell everything was prepared long in advance and put in the over before serving. Very touristic place with basic service. We asked for extra sauce and we never got it. Plus the dishes they serve the food in is burning, and they don’t tell you about it, it’s really hard to eat without touching it and I left with burns in my hand. I do not recommend.

10/10Very friendly people, very polite. A typical Alsatian restaurant, typical of the region. We enjoyed the food. Very tasty desserts, very good coffee.Cosy atmosphere. On the whole a very positive experience.

8/10The food and the service were great. I had the Petit gratin with Munster and spaetzle: it was an entree with a salad, so it was plenty of food for lunch. I was disappointed that they did not have an awning or umbrellas for their outdoor seating, so we were forced to eat inside as it was sprinkling rain. Thank goodness it was not full on summertime, otherwise it is much to hot to eat indoors at this venue.

6/10Disappointed that one of our meals was presented on a very hot plate but the centre of the food was cold. Potatoes were slightly under cooked but burnt on the outside. Enjoyed the ham hock but the whole plate was average.

If you're not that into cheese or the smell of it you should avoid the place. I found it to have a very strong smell of cheese inside the restaurant due to several dishes that included Munster cheese.

Nice typical restaurant dans la Petite France. The waitress was really kind and très sympa. Good quality food, large choice and generous portions. Desserts were the best part. Hope to come back.

8.5/10It was an excellent experience. The waitress was so gentle and served us really well. The quantity and quality of the food were great. Just a little comment on the duck, the meat was quite dry. We got 50% discount thanks to TheFork reservation as well. Highly recommended!

4.5/10This was the first restaurant we visited during our visit to Strasbourg and Colmar, decided to wait until I had a better idea of the food in the region to post my review. I wanted to make sure that any issues we had with the food were not due to the local cuisine but particular to the establishment. We visited a few days before Christmas and the only availability we found was at 9 pm. The restaurant is very nicely decorated, and we loved all the furnishings. We arrived on time but felt very hurried during our visit, the first person that served us was a bit better. He took some time to answer questions but the lady that followed was constantly on the go, it’s hard to order when the waitress won’t stop by the table for longer than 30 seconds. The reservation was supposed to be for 2 hours but we left before that due to the service we received. Now for the food, the only thing we particularly enjoyed was the onion tarte. The escargots were small and bland, the beef bourguignon was a couple pieces of meat that was probably left at the bottom of the pan since it was the end of the day without any vegetables. If you don’t have enough food for a portion, just say you’re out. The spätzle was also extremely bland, I really do wonder if they forgot to add any salt to it. Choucroute was ok. The parfait was ridiculously overpriced and had an overpowering flavor of almost like marzipan. We tried to keep an open mind but this place was a let down. There are other restaurants in the area that are far better.
