They had a New Year’s Eve menu and said it was the only option for the New Year’s Eve dinner and when we said we would leave because we were hoping for the A La Carte Menu, they said ‘okay order from the menu but don’t show anyone’. We tried to look at the menu secretly and we felt uncomfortable. The food was fine but all the time we felt like they were doing us a favor instead of giving us service.

We visited on Christmas Day and had the set menu. The food was incredible, so tasty and nice. Portion sizes were excellent too. The service was also amazing and all staff very friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself is cosy and has a lovely warm atmosphere. It is also nicely decorated and laid out very well. We sat at a table in the window which was nice to watch the world go by. Would highly recommend a visit to Chez Moineau!

A nice, small and very clean and welcoming atmosphere with high ceilings on the RDC and some tables in The sous-sol. Friendly and efficient service. The salmon main course with fennel was copious and according to my wife, very good. The Parmentier de canard looked good but it lacked any accompaniment. I had a nice tartare of boeuf with frites - both were good. Prices were correct.

What a find! From the warm welcome to the heartfelt goodbye, an outstanding experience. Food was very good and service and attention outstanding. The dining room is beautiful and background music pleasant and quiet enough to enjoy conversation. Restaurant was full and all were having a great time. We’ll be back next time we are in Paris!

We had a very nice dinner at this place. Our waiter Chames was friendly and gave us some suggestions about the meals and wine. Food was good. Maybe it is not worth it to take extra wagyu beef ham (which costs 8 euros) with the 'Linguine with truffle cream'. 'Duck parmentier style' was a bit dry, but tasty overall

Very nice little place in Saint Germain. We were greeted and the host knew from my booking that I had requested a quiet table, and he brought us downstairs to a small separate dining area that we had all to ourselves for awhile (although others eventually filled in). Food was very good - smoked salmon with apples and fennel with dill to start (well prepared), and lobster pasta for dinner. No complaints.

We had a main dish and a chocolate mousse each and we loved it! The reduction was properly applied and the place is extremely nice. For us the mousse was too much, sharing would’ve been a good option, maybe next time!
