8/10Food was terrific, but as many other reviews will show, the staff were quite unpleasant. The service lets the restaurant down. Cutlery and plates were just dropped or pushed on our table, the waitress gave me a bad look when I said I didn't want to order wine, and she kept pushing me to upgrade the steak from 80 euros to one for 120 euros.

8.5/10great food, nice steak, bistecca ala fiorentina and nice wine 🍷 the service was excellent and we had a great time. the only negative thing is that they didn't give me the discount 20% I had booked through the fork application....great food and service !

3.5/10Reservations went well. The food was overall not bad. But not worth what we paid. The place felt less authentic and more like a tourist trap. I spent less money and had better food at other restaurants in the area. By better food I mean actual steak florentine. From the moment we got in there the server was rude to us and then tried to upsell the entire menu. The hostess and manager why kind and attentive. Sadly, this was the worst meal I had in Florence, Italy. I would not recommend others to eat here.

6.5/10we felt a little disappointed with our florentine steak, we paid for 2k chianina an upgrade apprantly. the steak appeared to be unseasoned and nothing special. The fillet side of the steak was very small. I had wrong assumed that we would be presented with our cut of meat before it was cooked, but that didn't happened, we wanted to order chianti but our waiter was insisted that had prosecco to match the upgraded steak. This was a mistake to listen to the waiter. The waiters kept changing so we didn't receive continuity of service. I mentioned on booking that it was my wife's birthday but there no acknowledgement. Not the best experience.

10/10The CHIANINERIA steak was outstanding. We all loved it even a couple of people who aren’t big meat eaters. We complimented with roasted potatoes, mixed vegetables and a mixed salad. Everything was delicious. Our server, Esmeralda, was also excellent. She recommended how much steak to order for six people and she was spot on! Thank you Esmeralda for a great evening. We’ll return next time we’re in Florence.

8/10Food was brilliant but I think the restaurant experience is a bit style over substance due to their reputation. I went to a local place that was far better. When we arrived we were faced with an entrance full of waiting customers. Even though we booked a table we waited for about 10 minutes. The restaurant part we were in was quite compact and I was about two foot away and at first felt close but we got used to it. We were seated here and then asked to move which was a shame as we just got settled. General attitude of staff was good except from one person who was quite dry, poor explanations and didn’t smile at all - not hospitable service. When the food came out, it was good - can’t criticise the food. It was brilliant. Wine is not served by the glass. You have to buy a small bottle. Most will be happy with that but i took it home. You had to pay at the entrance. Not at the table which was awkward and inconvenient

7.5/10I made a reservation through the app, but I didn't get a discount. I've been talking about it since the first time I entered, but it didn't reflect. I didn't bring the beer I ordered, I just entered the order. I checked and corrected it when I paid. I think the 20% discount is not a big deal, but it's too bad.

10/10I really enjoyed the Florentine steak with a glass of red wine and my partner had a pasta dish. Really enjoyed eating in the quieter room in the back. The ambience was inviting and warming. 5 star food and would love to visit again ☺️

3.5/10For being a raved restaurant about steak and is the signature dish of Florence, it was a good piece of steak. I found it to be exactly that, just good, not great. Nothing new or must have. The price to the portions I thought was good, our server was not very helpful when asked how the menu worked he seemed very annoyed to help explain. The menu was incredibly confusing (or at least the way the server explained it was) you need to continually flip the pages to the steaks to the preparation. When asked about the shareable steaks, for two, he explained those were not from the region and pretty much discouraged that option. When we decided not to do caffe or dessert we never saw the server again, it wasn't until we chose to get up and go to the front that payment was explained. Overall, it was OK. It wasn't an experience, the food was OK, service was poor. I did have a reservation and showed up right at time and still wasn't sat till 25min after.
