10/10It was like dinner at Nonna's without all the family. Everything tasted phenomenal! The service was amazing and so personable. The atmosphere was a perfect home away from home. We loved it so much we reserved our next dinner before leaving. Highly recommend not leaving Rome without a stop here.

10/10We booked this restaurant last minute for our last night in Rome and had such a great time! The service was fantastic and given with a flourish -- get the chocolate cream puff dessert (watching him make it is like a theater show). The atmosphere was so friendly and we had the nicest Sicilian and Canadian couple introduce themselves and chat. The food was flavorful and overall was a great experience. Extra kudos to our waiter!

10/10Nestled in the basement (a small flight of stairs from the street), this gem is what makes Rome wonderful. We went on a Wednesday night. The restaurant was well attended, the waiter (just one) was attentive and helpful and the food was flavorful and memorable.

10/10We were there on a Saturday night in June, but it was empty. I have no idea why because the service was incredible and so was the food. I saw some bad reviews about the pasta, but if you talk to them about the pasta, they explain the traditional ways. The food was absolutely incredible, the prices were amazing. I would go back here weekly if I lived near by.

10/10Fantastic time at this cozy little restaurant. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, fantastic dishes. Close to Doubletree Hilton hotel and the Roma Termini train station. Definitely glad we found and came to this little basement hideaway, it was the perfect dining experience.

10/10A very interesting place. Unlike many of the crowded and somewhat boisterous restaurants that we've been in, this place was relatively quiet with ample spacing between the tables. A somewhat usual feature is the locked front door which. I imagine, is an indication that reservations are required (which we had through thefork). The food is very good; the service is very attentive and friendly. The decor is understated and creates a soothing atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable as well.

10/10Wonderful dining experience just of the main street. Freshly made pasta and breads. They serve the most delicious homemade olive oil crackers with their appetizers. We had a bottle of their house red wine which was affordable and excellent. Caccie y pepe is a must. Drier than most Roman versions so it is lighter - the best we have ever had. Amatriciano was clean not fatty from bacon full of fresh tomatoes. Dessert was wonderful we had the profiteroles put together table side and the gelato with espresso poured on top. Both were incredibly delicious. Service is typical of Rome slow paced and relaxed. Don't come here if you are in a hurry this is a place to drag out your experience to enjoy and relax.

10/10I decided to bring a couple of friends to this nice restaurant, where you can find a very special "cacio e pepe". The owner is very kind and customers are really at the center. To me it is a "MUST TRY AT LEAST ONCE".

10/10The food is excellent, I wish we had more time to go in for the full chefs dinner, will all the courses and the chefs extras. But what everything we ordered was perfect. The staff was excellent, attentive but not intrusive. And when it was time to rush as our opera location was at the baths instead of where we thought it was they called and taxi and spoke with them for us so we made it on time. Next time we are in Rome we are giving ourselves more time to really enjoy this wonderful gem of a restaurant.

10/10We travelled to Rome for my 60th, seven of us, ranging from 22 years to 87 years. The venue was perfect and the food glorious. Consuelo, our host recommended them, and we were not disappointed, even a candle in my dessert for me so my family could sing Happy Birthday. It rounded off a wonderful 60th birthday celebration
