Went a second time in same week to try different dishes and it did not disappoint. Excellent dishes.

Food was excellent as well as service. Ambiance was also very great with light music playing in the background. I travel to Rome a lot and, although it is tough to not find a good place to eat, this place beat them all.

Emanuele's family owns and operates this restaurant. He is such a delight! The food and service are as good as any restaurant in Rome. Moderate prices make this restaurant a very good value for a meal close to Termini.

A true Southern Italian dining experience. The engagement with the client of the staff of this family restaurant and their knowledge is spectacular. The food is delicious though quite simple as you would expect of authentic Italian. The stars of the show are the excellent deserts - don’t miss that part and do go for the house specials! I highly recommend.

What a cozy, warm, intimate place for Italian dinner. It was like being invited into a home and share an incredible meal. The service is outstanding. The owners are father and son who are also cook and waiter. In every meal there is care and attention bringing out the genius of excellent Italian food. We ate two dinners on separate evenings. Both dinners were fantastic. The ravioli, carbonara, cacao e Pepe, were simple, delicious, perfectly cooked. The beef slices in pepper were also excellent. Grazie mille!

Cicilardone a Monte Caruso was easily the best restaurant I visited in Rome. Its location near Termini Station makes it very convenient, but the real highlight is the service. Every staff member carries a strong sense of pride in what they do — attentive, friendly, and genuinely professional. They pay close attention to each guest’s experience and handle every detail with care and responsibility. The food was outstanding. We ordered a pasta and a steak to start, and ended up adding another pasta because everything tasted fantastic. The “Sette Veleni” steak was unforgettable — perfectly cooked with a unique signature sauce that really stood out. Great food, excellent service, reasonable pricing, and a warm atmosphere — truly the top dining experience of our stay in Rome. Highly recommended.

Emma was an excellent hostess who explained the different dishes on the menu along with their specialties. The service was very relaxing and suggestions for wine to pair with our meals was great. Over all the food and the ambience made for an amazing experience.

The staff at Cicilardone attended to me and my family's needs (e.g., gluten free) and requests with such a familial attitude. They were patient, warm and welcoming, and they made excellent suggestions without making anyone feel pressured. Their restaurant has an intimate ambience, almost like you're having a meal at someone's home. It is not too modern, too busy, or too loud. Perfect for a family dinner outing.

It is a place drawn from the memorable past, incredibly classy and special in all its aspects. The food is absolutely delicious and homemade, with specialities from the region of Basilicata. It was a unique experience for a food and wine lover!

The warm hospitality, the atmosphere in the restaurant, the taste of the food and the excellence of the wine is something hard to taste in Rome. It was the best part of my month-long trip to Italy.

Absolutely fabulous restaurant!! Ambience is old school romantic and very quiet. Service is impeccable. Great food, value, presentation and preparation. The “Grande Degustation” menu is a fantastic journey through ALL of Roma and Lazio cuisine, but requires a really hearty appetite to complete. This was clearly one of our favorite culinary experiences as we traveled to several cities in northern Italy over our three week journey. Thanks so much!!
