The food was by far the best we have had in Faro and the setting (cathedral close) and ambience (echoing guitar accompaniment) was divine.

Beautiful location in the old town, right next to Faro’s cathedral. Warm welcome and clear explanations of local dishes. The food was delicious and the service attentive and friendly, even on a fully booked night. Fair prices for the quality, service, and the unique setting. We’ll definitely return on our next trip to the Algarve

The restaurant is situated in the old town which is beautiful. The staff are friendly and really want you to enjoy the food and the experience of eating at their restaurant. The food is so well cooked, tastes and looks lovely. Had squid one night and pork cheeks another. All really tender a d just delicious. Can't wait for our next visit to Faro to go back. Definitely recommended.

Excellent food and great service. We sat outside and it was lovely. Unfortunately there was a major event at the church nearby and the street immediately in front of the restaurant just filled with cars vying for spots parking and aggressively parking. Some very close to the tables on the sidewalk. Took away from the ambiance but this was clearly not the restaurant’s fault. We will try again before we leave Faro.

Everything was exceptional. We both had the seabream which was done to perfection. Served with potatoes and a tomato onion cucumber salsa with garlic dressing. Yum. Bits of granular salt added a nice surprise every so often. Light and slightly crispy and delicious. Should have ordered the side veggies to go with it but instead shared the quinoa salad. Yum.

Amazing food and staff. Friendly and efficient service. Very attentive, polite and took the time to explain the items on the menu to us in detail. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Definitely a must visit when in Faro. Well done. Especially the gentleman in glasses who seemed to be the person in charge. Unfortunately I didn't get his name. Job well done.

Diner was great. Servers were prompt and polite. Food was quite good. I had the lamb shank, my wife had the piri piri chicken.(although she said the chicken at Costa Algarve was better) still it was a good night.

Excellent service and delicious food in a great location. Don’t forget to request a table outside if you’re booking this restaurant, it’s in a beautiful location at the foot of the cathedral, in the old town. The service was excellent, very helpful and friendly staff with just the right level of attention.

Visited last year. Booked ahead for lunch this year. Excellent again. The starters were fresh and full of flavour - melon and ham and a tasty double buchetta - frankly each enough for 2. My husband enjoyed cooking his own steak on a hot slab at the table. The steak was large and great quality and full of flavour. My pork and shrimp kebab tasty too. Half bottle of vino verde and water and 2 coffees ( no room for dessert sadly) came to €80 so great value for such good quality and well prepared food. Great setting under sun shade awnings backing on to the cathedral and looking over at the Town Hall - or go inside and eat where the local families do in a homely setting. Helpful service and a warm welcome. Plus perfectly clean loos - always a good sign!

We sat at a lovely spot on their expansive patio, and sipped sparkling white wine Sangria! Menu choices: Quinoa salad (excellent ); Monkfish and shrimp (spot on!); and finished with a little taste of traditional Ginjinha! Location and service was amazing! Thank-you!!

Service is very slow over 1 hour between ordering mains and getting them served. Needs more structure at at the tables and the kitchen seems not to be able to cater to the demand! Tasty food in general but service still needs quite some improvement with regards to speed.
