10/10If are staying in Madrid around C. Padre Damian. you must try Cinco Jotas. Meat, fish all of it! It's excellent!!

7.5/10I remembered eating at this restaurant a few years ago. I was happy to see that what I had eaten and liked was still on the menu. I went and although the meat was wonderful, I have some criticism. FIrst is that when one pays almost 40 euros per person to eat, one should have a tablecloth and not a paper placemat. At least a nice quality placemat. Second, the menu on internet showed the price of the dish I ordered at 16.50 euros. The actual price was 18.50 plus a fee for eating in the patio which brought it to almost 20 euros. I was never offered the choice of eating indoor. Solomillo Pedro Ximenez was presented with three unpeeled boiled potatoes that had been rolled in butter and when cut were entirely tasteless. When I complained I was offered french fries as a choice. Of course I turned that down since those fries would have been good with a hamburger and not with the solomillio in Pedro XImenez sauce. I would suggest they reconsider the side they are offering with that dish. Our waiter was good but the maitre lacked the welcoming touch. When I want such an expensive meal I will go elsewhere.
