Our first evening in France after 21 hours of travel was in Lyon and on my birthday. Cinq Mains was par excellence in every way - the food, the ambiance, the presentation, the service, all of it. Nina was outstanding and so very friendly and engaging. From crossing the threshold to enter to paying the bill, our experience was the very best! Thank you Cinq Mains for a wonderful meal and evening! We will be back! 😁

The presentation of plate was very good however the meat was so hard even the fork could not go in. You can definitely spend your money somewhere else in lyon and get better for your bucks.

Tasty dishes but a bit overpriced. It has a specific cuisine that does not cover all tastes Impeccable service. Our love to Peter. Do not miss to try the lamb as well as the quail eggs.

The entree was promising but the main course was so disappointing. The lobster (€16+ sup) with tomato was just completely wrong. Accompanied by a dish of tomato foam with lobster and tomato pieces... this made no sense. The tarragon overpowered the lobster and it taste like mothballs. Wrong wrong wrong. The staff were friendly, informative and polite but the experience was exasperated by slow service. More staff needed.

We hugely enjoyed our meal. An interesting, varied menu to choose from, and we appreciated the help we received from one of the guys to translate what each one was in English and a recommendation on a wine pairing. The dishes were well executed and delicious. A great start to our Lyon short break!

We enjoyed the food and ambiance but it took so long! We were first in the restaurant and nearly last to leave 3 hours later! People were all served and finished around. Us. We were tired and wanted to go back to our hotels on a wet night!

The food here is spectacular! They also have a great selection of wines and the service is also very good, the waitress was very nice. The place is small with a cozy atmosphere. We strongly recommend it.

We had a dinner with a client at this very nice restaurant. Found it on the web and it looked to be good. Turned out much better - excellent food accompanied with wine and drinks and super desserts! Great staff and location. Highly recommended!
