10/10This restaurant offers a refined dining experience. The food is fresh and expertly prepared. Our server offered Sicilian wine recommendations, answered our many questions and suggested we move to the beautiful balcony tables once they were in the shade. It was a fantastic experience, thank you!

10/10Staff was friendly yet professional. Knowledgeable and advised very well on food and wines. It is extremely well placed with a view to the square and even of it was raining, the doors to the varanda could still be open and enjoying the fresh smell of rain

5.5/10We had three different dishes, two were specials and they were terrible. And unfortunately we had ordered 2 of each to feed the six of us.. The pasta with crab had no discernible crab and was terribly fishy. The pasta with lobster was also extremely fishy tasting. The other dish, sea bass, was very good. The waiter took our still full plates, asked if something was wrong which we told him it was, shrugged his shoulders and left. Didn't seem to care that we were unhappy.

9.5/10Intersting flavor and texture combinations, great foid quality, both fish and beef were cooked to perfection. Overall good service, excellent location and view. The only comment I have - please have all of the waiting staff learn a little bit of English, or ask other staff members for help when they dont understand. All I asked was some tea for my dessert, got a nod and no tea... Otherwise, a truly exceptional experience.

6.5/10The octopus appetizer was well prepared, but bland. The pasta in the spaghetti and lobster Promi was overcooked and the lobster and tomato sauce was undistinguished. The sea bream and sea bass filet dishes were outstanding. I would recommend that anyone going to this restaurant stick to the fish dishes which are their specialty. The service was excellent and the location above the town square is outstanding.

2.5/10The food was awful! We had such good food in Sicily consistently until we went to Cinque Archi. It was very bad. I tried three different entrees and they were all bad. I’m not sure how this made the Michelin guide. They need to take it off.

7/10Wonderful location, we sat at a 2 person balcony table allowing 1 person to view the square while the other looks up steps at another restaurant. The food was tasty, good quality and well presented BUT portion sizes are tiny. My spaghetti main dish was enough for about 5 mouthfuls. Given the prices that are being charged this is a very annoying aspect of the experience and left me feeling distinctly disappointed overall.

5.5/10We were friendly with smiles, and the waiter would not look at us. The harder we tried to be friendly, the more disdainful he became. The antipasti was delicious, the mains were also delicious. But when I asked the waiter about the “a la Norma” he grimaced with,” it’s the regular a la Norma.” The salad was extremely disappointing: iceberg lettuce and two cherry tomatoes. The salad was NOT a Michelin salad. Overall, I would never go back, and I would not recommend this restaurant.

3/10Fabulous location amazing view poor service totally ignored poured our own wine had to ask for a wine cooler not offered coffee or desert. Food ok very overpriced Wine €65 for a bottle of Sicilian Rose than cost £12 in Uk supermarket

Good morning. I can't help but respond to your review!! it's absurd!! I would like to understand why we should offer a coffee or a dessert?? Maybe you didn't realize you were in a restaurant??? you have to pay for coffee or dessert in a restaurant! if the bottle of rosé had been dear to you, you could have had the glass too. 3/10€250 for half a lobster for two people. Incredibly expensive. The waiting staff were rude. The ambience was dead. The Michelin inspectors have dropped the ball on this.

10/10I’m not a person who leaves reviews but I have to for this restaurant. The service was impeccable. The food was some of the best we had so far through our travels in Sicily. The warmth and hospitality were overwhelming it is such a beautiful place to stop if you have the chance.

6/10Great ambience and view supported by the live music coming from the bar down at the square. Enjoyed the service by the owner / head waiter and his staff. We ordered three dishes in total. Crab spaghetti, Red Snapper (Grilled) and Grilled Vegetables. Other than the grilled fish, the plating was good, too. I was not sure if the crab meat came from the actual crab on the plate but that's okay, it tasted good. The grilled fish was cooked well but I would've preferred the head waiter asking us first if we would like to debone it before doing it himself. And in terms of plating, he just served it plainly with olive oil. We've had grilled fish before in Italy, even rucola, potato, onion, salad, a side on the same plate would've made it better.

8/10It was a very nice evening. Wine good, food good and service good! Except the ravioli Norma. They were ok but a bit basic. Our Kids 2 and 6 had them too. They liked them. They Billed for the kids ravioli 2x 25€. It was not enough for them so we had to order extra pasta. I hope that was a mistake.... 50€ for two kids pasta is strange even if it would be a star retaurant which it is not.... All in all its a very nice location. If you like Taormina you will like this place too!

6/10For a Michelin star resturant.. the food was tasty but not seasoned well. My beef had to be returned as it was under coooked. The side dish of the potatoes were very dry. I had mentioned during my booking it was a birthday.. nothing marerilaised.. no choc or small touches once the bill was presented.

7.5/10It is not surprising there were only 2 other tables taken. The glittery white decor is somehow cold, which sums up our experience of Competent but not friendly service. A bad feeling exacerbated by a €17 cover charge that brought us no extras other than a miserly portion of oil to compliment the unexceptional bread - and no plate to eat it from

10/10Truly great food, amazing piatto crudo ("imperiale") at the beginning, followed by spaghetti Granchio, also excellent, and finishing with a tagaliata di manzo, just great! top dinner at Taormina!

5/10The restaurant had all windows open and I chose to seat outside since inside was as cold as outside. So I got super cold eating. I wanted to order a glass of vine and they had only one option which I didn’t like. I don’t want to order the whole bottle. So I decided to skip vine. I ordered one appetizer and main dish. The main dish didn’t have anything else except a piece of fish. There was nothing special in either the presentation or food preparation. When I just arrived to the table, the first thing the server did: he brought a table with fresh fish explaining me for 5 minutes possible options that can be done with that fish. First of all, I don’t want to have fresh fish table by my side. Second, why not wait when I express at least some interest towards menu options. Overall, I was shocked and puzzled how such poor quality of food preparation, presentation, and service could have earned Michelin star. Never before I had so poor experience in a Michelin restaurant level. I could possibly justify such food if the price was €20 for an appetizer and a small piece of baked fish, not €70.

5.5/10The palace is great. We’ve been to many restaurants also Michelin star restaurants. The Michelin guide recommends this restaurant. But I must see it’s bot near a star. We’ve paid 280 euro’s, that was not in comparison what we’ve got. The starter was oké, the Main corse was red snapper covered with salt. The fish tasted good, but had a lot of bones. The grilled vegetables tasted not good and was luke warm. The bread was not self made and the cheese platter was bad. The coffee was good also the wine.

10/10Although the restaurant is located in a major tourist location we were seated on the balcony with a fabulous view of the main plaza and it was delightful. Food was excellent, beautifully presented , fresh and creative. Wait staff professional and helpful.
