The vibe is great - loved the staff, especially Hugo who had tasty food and drink recommendations and was so enthusiastic. The croquettas, salt cod bruschetta and fried fish were particular favourites. You must try the espressotini!! We will definitely visit again. Worth booking as it understandably gets very busy!

Food and service were amazing. We had a group of ten with a table outside. Everyone had an amazing time, food was great & the staff was fun and timely. I highly recommend.

Wonderful street table - so buzzy and fun absolutely packed but incredibly well looked after with delicious and imaginative dishes on the menu. Gorgeous wines from Portugal and a reasonable bill afterwards!

The food was good, but the waitress was rude and it took forever to get our food. When asked about the delay, the answer was that they had a lot of tables to attend to and "as we should expect" the service was delayed (please bear in mind that the food took 45minutes to get to the table...)

Our 2nd visit to Cascais and our 2nd lunch at Clandestina Taberna. No doubt we’ll be back dining there whenever we are in the Lisbon area. The food is amazing… like eating at grandma’s if grandma was a fantastic cook with a big patio in Portugal. The ambiance is perfect, not fussy or pretentious, just comfortable and easy. The crispy shrimp tapas with avocado and mango salsa was fabulous as well as the pork cheeks with potatoes. Honestly everything we’ve ordered has been delicious. Great bar selections, too.

It’s about the food right? It’s simple but very well prepared & presented & tasty . Then the warm casual vibe created by maitre d Chris and her staff is so good. Try the clandestine version of bruschetta ….👌…… add a main and some wine and enjoy. We did four times over out stay in the area. . It’s a lovely evening out in Cas caus …..you’ll go back,… Rice x 4

This is probably our 8th or 9th visit to this incredible restaurant. The best service in Portugal, the staff are so well trained it is always a great experience. And the food, yum! It always the first place we take our visiting guests as it's the perfect first impression.

It's a fun, buzzing little restaurant serving delicious food. We'd been eighteen months before and loved it so it was great to return and find that it was exactly as we had fondly remembered it.
