I chose the place for the nice interior and nice menu and made a reservation early. It was a huge surprise to find out that in the restaurant we were told that there is only availability for you at the outdoor terrace! It was late March and the weather almost stormy! The original idea was to have a special full dinner but we just had a risotto and left right away. They informed us 13 minutes before arrival that they changed our reservation outdoors! Terrible policy of the restaurant! Locals indoors and visitors of the city outdoors in storm!

After carefully checking both your reservation and our previous communications, no request for an indoor table was ever made, and we're sorry for the misunderstanding. On the evening of your visit, the indoor dining room was fully allocated to a large pre-existing booking of approximately 50 guests. For this reason, your table was arranged on the terrace. Weather conditions in late March may not always be ideal, but unfortunately this is beyond our control. There was no intention whatsoever to show a lack of respect towards you. We would be glad to welcome you again during the warmer season, when the terrace can be fully enjoyed, and give you the experience we believe reflects our standards. Nice option for the local area. Nice vibe and nice waitress. Food was ok, nice options on menu. Fantastic ossobuco

Really great venue and wonderful staff. Decent little wine list. Food left much to be desired however. Maybe a better spot for light fare than a full meal.

The service was great, we only speak English & they were very helpful. My mom also has celiac (gluten allergy) and they made sure everything was safe & delicious. The upstairs terrace is beautiful.

Beautiful location at the terrace looking at the church. The cotelleta Milanese did not come with any lemon or salat or potato puree, only parats in forne so it was pretty dry. The bistecca was not medium -rear as ordered, but well done. Pasta ok. Tiramisu ok.

Great location. But overhyped food. It was just so so. And they had run out of nearly every white wine- on a hot summer night! Clearly they are struggling. Too bad because I really wanted to like it!

Some dishes were amazing while some didn’t taste good

I reserved a table a long time ago, and upon arrival, I was offered the one by the entrance, even though the place wasn't fully booked. I insisted on a nicer table and got it after a long wait. The food was delicious, and the rest of the staff was friendly.

I preferred it for my son's birthday. They chose a special table for us and I was very happy that they brought it to our dessert by putting a candle and that they did not forget it. All the flavours we tried were very enjoyable. Thank you

We had an amazing meal, and our compliments to the chef! It was probably one of the best risottos in Milan. Highly recommended!

Horrible and rude personnel. Low quality food. False venue photos. Waiters were acting like they do not see us. The only thing you can do is come to the waiters by yourself and ask what you need. There are no lights at the ceiling, so it looks absolutely different from the photos. During the evening thousands of mosquitoes bites you while you eating. Drinks: they offer acqua panna as a still water however it is fake acqua panna, they bring open bottles filled with something different by the taste from acqua panna. The food: veal shank milanese was ok, pasta maritata was horrible. When we complained about the food they just took the full plate without any apologies. Strongly not recommended, any place in Milan will be better than this one.

Regarding your complaints, I’m truly sorry we were not able to meet your expectations but I guess there’s no need to go into details about CLOTILDE BRERA, because there are enough comments from other guests !! However, we must make some clarifications: Our rooftop terrace is exactly as shown in the photo, so your statement is false We are on an outdoor terrace covered by umbrellas and our tables are perfectly illuminated with battery-operated LED lamps, so your statement is false CLOTILDE BRERA has always used San Pellegrino water and Panna water. Probably in your country there is a habit of offering fake water, here we don't!!! We consider this statement very offensive and subject to a lawsuit. Low quality food? Im sorry but given the amount of lies expressed and considering that we use the best suppliers in Italy we don't consider it a credible statement. Conclusion?? Another false (5) statement!!!

Excellent location. Friendly and professional service. The food was beyond expectations. Elegantly presented as well as delicious. Not for a regular night out, but definitely a good choice for a special occasion.

One of my favorite restaurant in the city with the very romantic terrace, delicious food with very interesting combinations of flavors and great service. We will come back for sure.
