The food was good. We didn't expect to find 10% service added on the bill (manually added by pen on the electronic bill) at the end of the dinner. There is no mention on that on the menu (we double checked) and we felt it could be something they use to do with the non Portuguese customers. As European citizens who travels a lot we are sure that service/tip is not mandatory in this country until it's clearly mentioned on the menu, and this is not the case.

This charming restaurant was wonderful. We loved the oysters, veal chop, fish and octopus. Our waiter was attentive and helpful. Cocktail recommendations were perfect. Thank you!

Lovely, authentic welcoming restaurant. The cod and sea bass were lovely as was the pork. Made to feel very welcome.

This is a great Estoril neighborhood casual food restaurant with home cooking using fresh ingredients. Very good wine list and excellent service. Good value.

The owner and all the staff were very welcoming and spoke very good English. The food was superb. Do try the fish called croaker - it is delicious and was cooked to perfection!

It’s one of those unassuming looking restaurants but from our visits; yes we went back, the staff are friendly and very helpful. Food was excellent. Try it I don’t think you’ll be disappointed

Above my expectations. Quaint little Portuguese food restaurant tucked into a building by the Casino. Quality foods, simple but wholesome dishes , good wine list and very good service. Good value as well. A great discovery.

Clotilde excellent once again. The bacalhau is the best I’ve ever had (have had it at least 5 times there)! Super Mojito and wine list too. Efficient friendly staff as usual

The waiters were friendly , attentive and was accommodating to my friends' dog. The food especially the octopus and the tuna tartar was delish. Would definitely return.

The meat dishes were very good; the fish dish was oversalted. Unfortunately, the oysters on offer were not available. I was surprised that bread and butter were placed on the table unordered and that you have to pay for it without having ordered it. The service was very friendly. Here too, I was surprised by the somewhat cheeky way of writing a 10% tip on the bill. Overall, I would recommend

I had this restaurant recommend to me by a family friend and decided to try it and were so happy with the decision! We were a little late so contacted the retaurant to inform them " No problem, we will be waiting"., The waiter was at the door to welcome us with a great smile. The table was set beautifully. We order different things like the stake and a couple of fish dishes. The meat was perfectly cooked to our requirements and the fish wss fresh and simple with a twist of thoughtful surprises. Very well balanced throughout. We requested if we could swap a couple of side dishes. They did it without hesitation. All the food was great, the atmosphere was sufesticated but relaxed at the same time and the services was flawless! A great fine of a nice restaurant wothout being too pretentious. Price was fair.

Clotilde is a lovely restaurant with friendly , efficient staff and great Portuguese food. We had a great time and will return. Also you can park right outside!

Way beyond my expectation and delightfully so. A small out of sight, I suspect locals only busy in the week type of place recommended by a local shop owner. I urge visitors to give this very friendly foodie spot a go
