10/10Hands down my favorite restaurant in Lisbon- I've been more than a dozen times over a period of six years. The food is unfailingly delicious- do not miss the miso eggplant starter, the ceviche, the lamb kefta burger, the octopus, the salmon, or the iberian pork. And for dessert the chocolate soup and poejo ice cream can't be beat.

4.5/10The room we were seated in lacked atmosphere. It had poor lighting. We felt like we were in a cafeteria. The food was just mediocre, nothing special given the price. On the plus side, we didn’t like the first bottle of wine we tried so the waitress gave us another. As a whole we were disappointed though.

10/10The entrance is understated - leading you into a complex of different rooms, a little like someone’s house! Decorated tastefully in a Portuguese style, the rooms are well laid out & lit for a fantastic evening ambiance. The food was again Portuguese/Spanish and all courses were delicious. The beef carpaccio was a particular favourite for our party. For mains, 2 of us had the pork, 1 the salmon teriyaki & I had the risotto . All were delicious! In truth, I can’t recall the desserts - except that we had 6 between the 4 of us because we couldn’t choose! Service was excellent throughout the night! A little off the main drag but definitely worth making time for!

9/10Delightful setting in courtyard. Food was disappointing compared to what we expected. Access to courtyard requires walking down stairs with no hand rail which we never saw noted. Service and ambience was excellent.

10/10Had a delightful “contemporary” Portuguese lunch on the terrace. Weather was beautiful and the food was delicious. We had two appetizers to start : the eggplant and white fish ceviche and split the shrimp risotto as our main. Beautiful presentation and wonderful flavors. Definitely an out of the way location- but worth the trip!

10/10The service, food and ambience were all amazing. We visited many years ago and were keen to revisit. We were NOT disappointed. A very lovely experience. As I’m gluten free I was so well looked after and this made it all so very special. Thank you to our amazing server.

The ambiance is warm and inviting, perfectly setting the stage for the culinary masterpieces to come. Each dish reflects meticulous research and creative innovation. My starter, a roasted eggplant with miso caramel and pistachio, was a delightful blend of textures and flavors, showcasing the chef's skill and attention to detail. The main dish, black pork neck with shrimp, white beans, and coconut milk, was exquisitely tender and flavorful, creating a harmonious balance that was both comforting and exhilarating. The sweet finale, a banana and foie gras cannoli paired with Moscatel, was a unique and refreshing combination that left a lasting impression. Service at Clube de Journalistas is impeccable, with knowledgeable and passionate staff enhancing the experience. This restaurant is a must-visit, and one of the finest dining experiences I've ever had.

9/10Firstly, the service and setting for a meal is perfect! Few words are needed to describe a place that you can easily have a memorable moment in based on service and setting alone. For starters I had the veal carpaccio, almond "forofa" and truffled vinagrette; this was very tasty, but essentially just a well put together assortment of (very) good produce. For the main I had black pork neck, shrimp, white beans and coconut milk. The dish feels somewhat portugese with the fatty pork neck and white beans, but everything else tastes Asian, which is a delight. My only issue with the dish was I felt the pork wasn't well enough seasoned and so the pork only danced when it could have sung as well. For dessert: banana and foie gras connoli with moscatel in a side glass...a crowd splitting show stopper that blew me away! My only regret is of the possibility I will never have a dessert like it again! Truly delicious!

10/10Such great food, in a romantic setting (unlike other garden restaurants) and such lovely and attentive staff. We were so well looked after, and had 4 delicious courses (and a menu with some twists). Would thoroughly recommend this beautiful restaurant.

10/10An absolute must visit. Clube de jornalistas is not only a beautiful restaurant with the highest quality food, but is also home to the best staff (especially chef Ivan). Chef Ivan made incredible recommendations for my mom and I and he served our meal as a 5 course fantastic experience. The food was fun, innovative, and most importantly delicious. Not to mention the local wines and digestifs he shared with us. A very very special place. We will definitely go back every time we’re in Lisbon (probably more than once a trip)!

10/10What a place! The courtyard was a stunning setting, incredibly romantic. And the food was out of this world. The eggplant with miso caramel, the risottos and the chocolate soup were all exceptional and the service was wonderful. We had a great chat with the chef and his wife, who was our waitress, was so lovely and attentive. Would 100% recommend, one of the best meals we have ever had, thank you Clube de Journalistas
