6/10Although the hostess / owner was charming , the cod was the worse we’ve had in Lisbon. Charged for items we didn’t ask for . Waiter was not into it tonight. Just overall disappointed, I was so looking forward to tonight.

10/10We had an amazing night at Clube de Journalistas. The staff was very friendly and treated us like family. We thoroughly enjoyed all the food and wine! The ending Port we had was amazing. Would highly recommend to anyone!

10/10I had watched a youtube video where the restaurant was featured so I was keen to try and it didn't disappoint me .The restaurant and the staff were lovely ,I will have to return to sit outside in the summer months in their beautiful courtyard .I loved it ,well worth the taxi ride as its a little out of the main area Thank you for a lovely evening

10/10We had a fabulous time here! Our server was so kind and accommodating with our 2 year old son, making us feel so welcome. The food was delicious too. We will definitely return when we visit Lisbon again.

10/10This restaurant was recommended on TopJaw and it did not disappoint. The vibe was warm and welcoming, and the menu was stunning. Amazing recommendations from our amazing waiter, who helped us navigate the gorgeous menu - there wasn’t a thing we didn’t love. Great vibes, service and delicious food.

10/10We went to this restaurant to celebrate an important event ten years ago, and found the meal so memorable that we decided to come to Lisbon to celebrate the same event ten years later. We were confident that the restaurant would still be still be good, because other people’s reviews said so. But it was better than good, it was quite outstanding, even better than it had been the first time, with extraordinarily original dishes, charmingly effortless service, and the most gracious ambience. An unforgettable occasion. We have signed up for classes in journalism.

10/10This was such a fun & amazing experience! My girlfriend & I did Christmas dinner here and it was absolutely fantastic! The pork tenderloin was unbelievable & the plantain dessert was the best I’ve ever had. Hands down. Definitely give this place a visit!

8/10We were there the second time. The location is pretty big, with different connected rooms. We had a starter and a main course. Both was good. However, for my personal taste a bit too much made to please all customers. The service was well organized and we got everything in time. There is a nice wine list with some things to discover. This time the restaurant was well booked but not full. Nevertheless, there were some guests that were using zoom/face time at a level that we hardly understood our own words. Although this is not the fault of the restaurant the chief should have interfered. All over it was good and pleasant and we may come again.

10/10Fabulous interior , surprise around every corner. We had the Restaurants own wine (red) & it was full bodied, with pleasant flavours. The food was presented professionally, it was fine dining without the price point. We were presented with gifts on leaving & had an amazing experience.

10/10Perfect for our anniversary celebration. Friendly and welcoming staff, warm and unique ambience. We chose to sit in the room with the tiled walls and had a table next to the terrace doors, which was lovely and romantic. We enjoyed learning from our server about the history of the club. We did the tasting menu and everything was absolutely delicious. The black pork neck and eggplant with miso caramel were standouts, as was the eucalyptus ice cream in the dessert selections. The wine pairings were perfect with each course. This meal was a standout in every way.

10/10Very good spot if you're looking for a high quality meal and not a tourist trap. The only thing I would recommend is to make sure you ring the door bell. While it looks closed, the staff is in the garden and keep the front door locked.

10/10Few restaurants achieve the measure of perfection that we found at Clube de Jornalistas. Tucked away far from the touristic bustle of Lisbon's old city center, the restaurant offers a moment of peaceful respite, offering settings both inside and out that are gentle, beautiful, and altogether engaging. The staff was among the most attentive we've ever encountered (and that's saying a *lot*!), offering suggestions and welcome conversation, while guiding us through the rather spectacular menu. Everything that we ate that evening was perfectly and creatively prepared, from the near-sublime roasted eggplant appetizer to the sparklingly refreshing Romeo&Juliet dessert. The chef (who came to the table to speak with us) masterfully layers flavors and textures, yielding dishes that are as delicious as they are creative. Other diners that evening were equally impressed, with everyone praising the dishes (the octopus earned much applause) and the service. This restaurant is truly one of Lisbon's jewels, and one worth returning to again and again . . .

10/10Just the best restaurant in Lisbon. Been to a lot here, but this one is always great at all level: Food, service, decor, ambiance... Talking about service: The service is simply top-notch. The staff exudes warmth and professionalism, making you feel like an honored guest from the moment you arrive. They are attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate about their craft, always ready to provide expert recommendations or cater to any dietary preferences or restrictions. Their genuine enthusiasm for ensuring an exceptional dining experience is truly commendable.
