Booked through the fork. Most items don’t qualify for the discount. Good service. Not the most comfortable atmosphere. I had a much better experience at the sister restaurant in the marais. Food was just okay. Not as expected

We had a just a few moments to eat and then attend a show near the restaurant. They let us know which things on the carte would be the fastest and all the choices were amazing. Also the house cocktail with vodka & lemon was so tart... yummy!

I'm not going to post a photo of my food. Just going to say that this restaurant is amazing. The food was divine. The sommelier does not recommend wine, he asks a series of questions and depending on your answers he brings a wine. If you don't like it he will take it away and bring the wine list. The wine he chose for us was perfect.

Comme Chai Toi is a charming spot with a fantastic location right across from Notre-Dame. Once the cathedral's restoration is complete, the view will undoubtedly be breathtaking. The cuisine was impressive, and the service was attentive and professional, meeting high expectations. The dishes and prices are what you’d expect from a restaurant, but the atmosphere leans more toward that of a lively bar. While the energy of the place may appeal to some, we were hoping for a quieter, more romantic ambiance to match the iconic setting. We visited the restaurant last year (2023) and were blown away by the menu and the food. We returned this year expecting the same however we were upset that the menu was very very similar, and unfortunately the risotto (main) which was €29 had absolutely zero taste whatsoever. I was very surprised given the quality we had experienced last year. The starters were ok, the staff and service were lovely but we were very upset by the lack of taste.

However, we are saddened that you didn't tell us that in front where we could have done something for you, such as remaking the dish or serving you another one ! This is an excellent restaurant serving French food and has been Artisans Militants de la Qualité of le Collège Culinaire de France in 2023 and 2024. The wine seems to be a bit overpriced but the trout and duck we had is highly recommended.

Beautiful location, interesting restaurant with nice ambience and very good service. With a clear interest in the provenance of products and a tasty menu, this could be a foodie destination. However, the main magret of duck course and vegetable accompaniments were not served hot, and not that well cooked, many everyday French country restaurants serve a much better version of the same dish. The staff were dedicated and helpful, but the food is expensive and rather disappointing.

The waiters were welcoming and the starters were very good and original. However, the main courses (we took the entrecote and the duck) were mediocre, we had the impression that the meat was overcooked and the duck was undercooked. We had to wait at least 15 minutes for our cheese plate which we had ordered to finish our wine, but in the end we had to finish the cheese with sparkling water as we had already finished our wine while waiting. Last but not least, if you book via The Fork with the discount, the discount as described on The Fork page is not applied.

Dear Asli, The waiters are pleased to know that you found them welcoming, but the whole staff is concerned about you: you didn't even think to simply ask for a re-cooking of your meats ? Also, we are terribly sorry that you weren't the only customers in the restaurant and that the staff couldn't prioritize your cheese plate over everything else. Quite a pleasant experience, We enjoyed the foods, environment and the service very much! The salmon and snails were so good! The cream of the dessert 'so good' was so great that not too sweet, while the Chocolat put as base was a little sweet to me but maybe just to me.

The food is excellent, like real French. We had three courses and high quality. But it was done in a fast tempo. The starter, main course, the cheese was served really fast and the bill came to our table before we asked. We were in and out in 90 min. So all in all the experience was good but not great. We felt it was a rush.

This place was recommended to us by a foodie who had enjoyed a great meal here so we were expecting great things. Unfortunately the food on the night was really disappointing. The veal steak was dry and the lamb main dish was really fatty. We also splashed out for the more expensive of wines on offer as thought at least that would be decent but it was really poor. Wished we’d stuck to the homemade cocktails which we sampled upon arrival. We didn’t complain as our kids hate it if we ever do this so just left v disappointed. We had a great week visiting Disney and various famous Paris sights including a trip up the Eiffel Towe, a guided tour around the Louvre, a cruise on the Seine ++ so we will certainly remember those memories and try to forget about the meal.

We are in Paris often and tried this adorable restaurant based on the reviews. The service was incredible--friendly from start to finish, very knowledgeable, happily presented everything in both French and English because we had a mixed crowd. You choose your meal--choices of entrees, mains and desserts and they serve wine that pairs with it. There were 6 of us and everyone loved the meal and the experience. The views onto Notre Dame were beautiful too.

I was really excited to try this restaurant with my mom to celebrate my birthday… it was so disappointing. We ordered the prime rib for 2 to share and the meat was under seasoned, very raw (but not juicy, it was veiny and fatty), and quite cold when we received it. The blue strawberry salad was ok but the portion was laughably small and there was almost no blue cheese at all to be found in the salad, so perhaps it would have been more aptly called the strawberry salad. Almost everyone in this restaurant was a tourist by the way, I heard almost no one speak French. Sorry I couldn’t say anything better about the experience. I also did not like the wine questioning, it felt a bit pretentious and unnecessary, and gimmicky. Oh well.

Wonderful small restaurant serving farm fresh cuisine in the Basque style. Food and service were terrific. We arrived at 7:30 and it was quite then, but got fairly noisy when it filled up later on. Still, less noisy than many restaurants I have been in lately. I will certainly go back there again!
