Unfortunately, most of the menu options were unavailable. For the main course, since the dish I wanted wasn’t available, I ended up choosing a carbonara — homemade pasta — but the excessive salt ruined it. However, the dessert was the turning point. The options we asked for (tartufo and mousse) were not available, and the restaurant owner was extremely insistent about the alternatives, to the point that we felt uncomfortable and agreed. He insisted I try a “chocolate heart,” basically a petit gâteau, and for my husband, an “amazing artisanal Italian gelato.” We accepted the offer, but as soon as he walked away, we noticed he moved the folding screen near our table and took the so-called Italian gelato out of the freezer — the brand can even be seen in the photo. Another embarrassing thing, he was constantly requesting a good review. The atmosphere was pleasant and easy to find, but the service and menu options were disappointing.
