Oh boy the fish is fantastic and the fusion is surprisingly delicious. We were wedged into an awkward corner & the staff seemed less and less interested in visiting our table. When the bill came it had a “subtotal”, a recommended “tip”, and then a total. When our Portuguese table mate asked about it - since tipping isn’t customary- we were told the subtotal was the food total & the “tip” was only suggested. It felt deceptive.

Super creative dishes and drinks, fresh fish, vibrant atmosphere and friendly service.

all was excellent, wr received additional fish that we didn't order and had to pay for it, but was good anyways. service is a little slow, and prices is overestimated, could be slightly lowered.

Confraria Sushi is, without a doubt, one of the best dining experiences in Cascais. The sushi is incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor — every dish feels like it’s prepared with real passion and attention to detail. The mix of traditional Japanese techniques with creative touches makes every bite memorable. The atmosphere is stylish yet relaxed, and the service is consistently warm and attentive. Whether you’re going for a casual dinner, a date night, or a special occasion, this place always delivers. If you love sushi, this is a must-visit. Easily one of my favorite spots in Cascais!

We hosted my daughter's 14th birthday dinner for 15 people here in their beautiful courtyard. We ordered so much sushi and appetizers and everything was delicious. The ambiance was fabulous and everyone had an amazing time! The service was very good but for a party this size I wish we would have had two dedicated servers so that it was a bit faster. Overall an amazing experience and can't wait to eat here again!

This is our favorite place in cascais and one of the best sushi fusion restaurant we have been to. The shake cheese hot is a must (although not in the menu), and their new dessert with an ice lemon mousse, pistachio crumble is decadent.

Excellent food and fast service in an absolutely full restaurant. My only criticism is being charged €4 a bottle for ‘filtered’ water (tap water) which we didn’t ask for

We had again a fantastic experience at CONFRARIA and we asked them to open a Confraria in our home city Cape Town, please. The Confraria concept is absolutely stunning and it is world class!

The flavour and textual combinations were first class. The fish was delicious and the service charming and attentive without being pushy. My family and I had a wonderful evening. It’s not the cheapest but sometimes you get what you pay for. Highly recommended. Thank you.

5-Star Review for Our Favorite Sushi Spot in Cascais! We've been regulars at this incredible sushi restaurant in Cascais for a while now, and every visit feels like coming home. The food is always absolutely outstanding---fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. On our most recent visit, we enjoyed the Ebi Spicy, Shiso Maguro, and the Uramaki Vulcan Maki--each one better than the last! The Ebi Spicy had just the right amount of kick, the Shiso Maguro was delicate and perfectly balanced, and the Vulcan Maki was a showstopper with bold flavors and amazing texture. What truly sets this pace apart, though, is the service. Maria and Marcello, and all of the other servers are simply the best! They're always warm, welcoming, and full of fantastic recommendations. Their genuine hospitality makes us feel like family every time we walk through the door. If you're in Cascais, and love sushi, don't miss this gem--this place is everything a great sushi restaurant should be!
