10/10This is our favorite place in cascais and one of the best sushi fusion restaurant we have been to. The shake cheese hot is a must (although not in the menu), and their new dessert with an ice lemon mousse, pistachio crumble is decadent.

10/10The flavour and textual combinations were first class. The fish was delicious and the service charming and attentive without being pushy. My family and I had a wonderful evening. It’s not the cheapest but sometimes you get what you pay for. Highly recommended. Thank you.

5-Star Review for Our Favorite Sushi Spot in Cascais! We've been regulars at this incredible sushi restaurant in Cascais for a while now, and every visit feels like coming home. The food is always absolutely outstanding---fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. On our most recent visit, we enjoyed the Ebi Spicy, Shiso Maguro, and the Uramaki Vulcan Maki--each one better than the last! The Ebi Spicy had just the right amount of kick, the Shiso Maguro was delicate and perfectly balanced, and the Vulcan Maki was a showstopper with bold flavors and amazing texture. What truly sets this pace apart, though, is the service. Maria and Marcello, and all of the other servers are simply the best! They're always warm, welcoming, and full of fantastic recommendations. Their genuine hospitality makes us feel like family every time we walk through the door. If you're in Cascais, and love sushi, don't miss this gem--this place is everything a great sushi restaurant should be!

As usual the food and service were excellent. Although the restaurant was extremely busy due to the Easter holiday our server was prompt and attentive. Food was perfectly prepared and up to Confraria’s usual standards!

8/10This is a beautiful little place to be, especially on the terrace. The food was very attractive but the flavors - not so much. It is expensive IMO and the portions tend to be small. We ordered a soft shell crab starter, expecting something akin to spider roll (it wasn’t). Although the dish was visually stunning, there was not enough crab to fill a thimble and the quail egg, although perfectly cooked, completely overpowered the fish. Same problem with the fois gras. We got two small bites of beautifully cooked fois gras over a piece of tuna that overwhelmed it. I also found our dishes disappointing, My ginger tea tasted like plain hot water, The place is lovely and the service is nice, but that is not enough for me to go back.

Second visit for us and was great again! Super fresh fish, perfectly cooked rice, awesome cocktails. Love sitting on the patio in the sunshine under the beautiful tree. Quiet and scenic view of the local square…good people watching!😉

10/10This lovely restaurant tucked away in an old Cascais house covered with bougainvillea is outstanding! Elegant interior and tabel settings, Superb service and Gault Millau cuisine. The best tempura, sashimi and sushi I have ever eaten!

10/10Our first visit will certainly not be the last as this is the best sushi we have ever had….so glad we tried it. Great couvert to start of carrot sticks and a beet/mayo/pickle dip….an interesting combination that was very refreshing to accentuate the meal. Their specialty drinks we tried were the Akita and the Okayama and both were super refreshing and flavorful….so much so we ordered two more as we dined on the patio under a beautiful bougainvillea. Gyozo for appetizer was a great start before the Nihon Bare (12 piece sampler) and an 8 piece Uramaki which were fantastic. Perfect light fluffy rice and super fresh fish. We especially loved the melt in your mouth tuna nagiri (no exaggeration here) so much that we ordered 4 more pieces. Service was excellent with a friendly and informative duo that made drinks from scratch and were very attentive. The slightly higher price for sushi and definitely higher price for drinks are well worth the experience though. Go and enjoy!
