10/10Overnighted at an airport hotel and wanted one last dinner of local fare. This was an excellent choice. Menu items included both traditional and creative items. Server was attentive and helpful with the menu. Owner even offered a homemade radish digestivo. Prices were affordable however taxi fare can be 25-40 euros depending on time of day. But do not let taxi fares stop you. This is a wonderful final night experience.

10/10The entire place , starting from the service , the staff , the little appetizer to welcome you , the food and wine selection and finishing with their special amaros.. literally everything was outstanding! Very much recommended if you’re in Fiumicino ! What a Special place !

8.5/10Highlight -eclectic additions to menu -smoked goose; lovely helpful staff. Uniquely picturesque, log cabin, dining room. Decent wine list. Menu is for meat lovers! Next time we will share a steak. Unfortuately. this time pork bellies almost all fat. Pasta too al dente for us. Seems to be very popular despite parking challenges.

10/10What a way to spend our last dinner in Rome. Read some good reviews and after a short taxi from our hotel we found this amazing restaurant. Service was great, spare rib appetizer was great. Large wine selection. Started with pasta and it was some of the best we’ve had. Carbonara and Cacio e Pepe followed by filet with mushrooms and tagliata steak. Dessert was awesome, de constructed tiramisu was delicious and almond basket just as good and very unique. Highly recommend.

10/10Perhaps the greatest meal we’ve had in Italia! Ever. For perspective, we’re in Italy 10 times a year for 14 days at a time or more, from north to south, east west, Sardegna to Sicily. The owner is spectacular and service is remarkable. We will be back. Hidden local gem.

10/10We were wanting to end our vacation with a nice dinner. This restaurant was within walking distance from our lodgings. We were pleased with the attentiveness of the staff as well as the quality of the food. Even though we arrived at 22:30 we were treated like guests of honor and the food was remarkable. Attention was given both to presentation as well as taste. We ordered a variety of dishes and nothing disappointed. Our favorite was the cheese platter. Amazing… We only wish we could dine here without having to travel all the way to Rome. ???? Absolutely 5 stars ⭐️

10/10This was a wonderful find on our last night in Italy before flying home. The food was excellent, the service and hospitality outstanding. We asked for recommendations from our server who was patient with our (very!) limited Italian and everything she suggested exceeded expectations. This trip was in celebration of an important anniversary for us, and this restaurant made our last night joyful and delicious!

10/10Our last evening in Rome, found this restaurant online with good reviews and was extremely pleased with the choice. Food was amazing and the staff was very attentive and friendly. They made everyone feel welcome and helped with any questions on the food. Probably one of the best meals we had while in Italy.

10/10A lovely evening with friends with great food and wine. We had some local Lazio wine, wonderful pasta and incredible tiramisu! The service was attentive but not intrusive.

10/10Great spot if you're looking for some dinner near FCO. Quality of the steak was truly world class. Italian filet was definitely dry aged (smell hit me as soon as they dropped it on the table) and way more marbled than I expected. Absolutely delicious family fun/local spot.

10/10The service was excellent as was the food. Very reasonably priced and delicious. It was also a treat to be welcomed with a glass of Prosecco upon arrival. This is an excellent place for dinner if staying near the airport!

9.5/10This restaurant features some very creative and interesting dishes. It has a pleasant outdoor dining area that is covered, and a smaller area that is open air with trees. We really appreciated the personal attention that we received and the interest that the owner/chef showed in our opinions about the food. He also offered us a Prosecco to begin with and a wonderful, unique anise digestivo at the end. The name implies countercurrent, and that is exactly what it does with its menu. Some of the dishes are recognizable, but with a unique and interesting twist. It is located in a small street near the port, and is nicely out of the way. Well worth a visit.

10/10Best place to eat in Fiumicino, if you are a meat lover. They have a huge menu. It was for me hard to chose what i wanted to wat cause everything sounded amazing. The food was of great quality and cooked just like i wanted it. They didnt have any more small bottles of white wine for me, so they opened a normal bottle for me, and charged the price of the small one. The staff were really friendly and attentive. I definitely recommend it!

10/10We happen to love this restaurant. This is our third time here; 2016, 2019, and 2022 (we live in Los Angeles, so can't get here much more often ...). The food here is always wonderful! When we sat down, we were served a complimentary prosecco and an amuse-bouche. This time we ordered an appetizer of pork spareribs that were so tender! I requested the beef cheeks in a marsala sauce (so succulent and juicy!) and crispy roasted potatoes. Joey chose the ravioli stuffed with ricotta, sprinkled with bacon that he said was incredible - but he wanted more ... we chose the Ca Botta amarone that did not disappoint, and the dessert - Cestino di mandorle caramellate, crema chantilly, frutti di bosco e cioccolato fondente was of course, delicious and the perfect topper for our meal. But then they brought a complimentary digestif for us. The biggest disappointment of the evening was hearing that they would not be open the next night so we could return to sample other items on the menu!

10/10My friends and I really loved the food, atmosphere and service at this lovely restaurant! The staff was super welcoming and generous, for example we were offered to try their homemade liquor for no extra cost. The food was amazing, and the waitress helped us pick out a lovely local wine to go with it. Would really recommend to eat here! 10/10
