    Introducing chums to also discover my favourite destination to enjoy the best rendition of Crespella Fiorentina in Florence yesterday afternoon, was a resounding success! And to start we shared a plate of their exquisitely delicious pear filled pasta that engagingly comes in the form of tiny ‘bags’, lightly coated with a beautifully balanced sauce.. ahh. A near perfect meal served with genuine professional friendliness. Highly recommended.

    Everything was wonderful. There was a nice selection of entrees. We had the pear and burratta ravioli for our Primi and shared the beef entree as our main. The ravioli were exceptional. all entrees were prepared perfectly. Service and ambience were very good. we will return.

    This was my third, fourth visit over the last few years. Feels homey and personal and at the same time elevated. Dishes with a local accent but a modern sensibility. Plus a great and fairly priced wine list. Come for the great room and warm smiles; stay for the Michelin-level food without the prices or pretentions.

    Food was fantastic and unique menu! Loved the wine list and selected a lovely Italian to complement our meal. Service was excellent and dining experience was exceptional. Highly recommend!

    Both rabbit and wild boar were excellent but the chicken liver starter was fantastic! Limoncello after dinner was a very nice touch and surprise.

    I come to this little neighborhood gem every time I am in Florence now. Someone recommended it to me several years ago and it is my most favorite little restaurant in the world. The pear ravioli are outstanding.

    Lovely meal and superb staff who went out of their way to make our evening special. Gave us additional tasters which will definitely tempt us to go back to try them.

    Just as good as the first time I went 25 years ago. While the menu has changed over the years, I am happy to say that the pear and cheese ravioli are still on the menu and still delicious. We had excellent service during our lunch. I will continue to recommend this place to friends visiting Florence.

    Absolutely everything was incredible. Every food and wine pairing was on point. And every server was so polite, helpful, and knowledgeable. Overall, it was just one of those perfect food experiences that I always hope to have on vacation, and I'm going to be raving about it for possibly forever.

    The ambience was cute but unfortunately the food was our worst on the trip. And the entire restaurant was only Americans or tourists. The anchovy pasta was too fishy. The eggplant crumble was inedible. The pear tortelloni was ok but didn’t taste fresh. The pistachio ravioli was interesting (neither good nor bad). Service was nice. Ambience was nice. Location was central.

    We got fooled into going here based on ‘good’ reviews. Maybe we just went here on a bad day, but after we were seated, it took the server almost half an hour to come get our order. Actually, my son had to flag down the server to even come to our table, which should have been a sign to leave immediately. Another 20 minutes to get our appetizers. The main course came 1 hour 15 minutes after we arrived. We were just about to ask for the check. I wish we had left at that point. The powers above gave us all the hints but we thought the quality of the food would make-up for it. Wrong again. The octopus was bland. The pasta had no flavor but had too much salt. The salmon was the only thing edible. Had to drink "glasses of water' to wash out the salt taste out of our mouths. Left the place with a bad taste in our mouths, literally. Stay away from here. Plenty of great choices in Florence, but not this one. A completely waste of $125.

    Good morning, we welcome comments from anyone, of course. But reading that our pasta has no flavor and is salty after all the guests of the day have complimented us, suggests a not very fair review.

    Food was excellent (this was our second visit in a week), but on this visit service was slow. The restaurant may have been understaffed but it took a very long time.

    Absolutely delicious food in an attractive relaxing space. We had wild boar, salami and cheese plate, eggplant parmesan and stuffed rabbit all fabulous.

    Great food. The rabbit meat was delicious and sweetly savoury. Tender and paired with the zucchini and grapes made for a wonderful combintation. The pear and cheese ravioli was an explosion of flavour. Great service and food overall

    Food was AMAZING. Pear ravioli the best we’ve had. Eggplant crumble pie out of this world. Egg in pecorino cream fabulous!! Service was just ok they seemed more interested in the Italian “regulars” than us- oh well!
