I had an outstanding dinner at Cortile Spirito Santo during my visit to Ortigia in November 2025. The food was incredibly creative — each dish wonderfully considered and beautifully presented, full of subtle flavours, and clearly designed with real thought and sensitivity. It is clear that every element on the plate has a purpose, and the combinations really work. The service was impeccable throughout. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care that guests were having the best possible experience — nothing ever felt rushed or forced. The ambience was calm and elegant, with tasteful décor that perfectly suits the relaxed yet refined atmosphere. It’s a peaceful spot that makes you want to linger and enjoy every course. Overall, Cortile Spirito Santo is one of the most impressive restaurants I’ve visited in Sicily — creative cuisine, flawless service, and a beautifully serene setting. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in Ortigia

Creative, colourful, surprising, perfection on a plate. The service was delivered with confidence without being invasive. Great wine list. The evening was special. Couldn’t have been better.

The food was extraordinary... creative, beautifully presented, and full of bold, memorable flavors. Every dish showed genuine culinary talent and imagination. Service started off excellent but unfortunately lost its rhythm as the evening went on. For whatever reason, it seemed like the staff lost a bit track of our table. Our glasses sat empty for some time, and we nearly had to pour our own wine. Having dined at many Michelin starred restaurants, I’d say the cuisine here deserves high praise, but the service fell a little bit short of that level.

An incredibly special evening, the highlight of our entire 10 day trip to Sicily. Beautiful outdoor terrace setting, delicious and creative food. Lovely wine list and excellent Sommelier. Service was spotty here and there, but not enough of an issue to affect our overall experience. We ordered a la carte to avoid ingredients that we don’t like but are common in Sicilian cuisine (eg anchovies, mackerel, etc). There were plenty of menu choices available without these ingredients. Would highly recommend!!!

Service was excellent from all attendants, from the reception to the food service. Imran was particularly friendly and informative. Food is good and we are definitely happy we went. Every dish was good or great. If in Siracusa, you can't do better.

Food - awesome Ambiance - can be better, with more space between tables Service - very impersonal. As a person who does not usually drink wine, at least I’d like to be informed by the expert before being poured 40/50 euro wine glasses of wine. The waiting time between courses is ridiculous.

The food is average. Out of six dishes in the course menu only two were more or less wow. It is definitely not a Michelin star, not even close. The restaurant design is uninspiring and dark. The service is ok although sometimes they forgot about drinks.

Everything was more than nice - the ambience, the service, the food, the wine, the music. My boyfriend had a birthday, so they made him a surprise. We were really happy to celebrate in this lovely place. Really recommend the place!

The worst service we have ever had at a Michelin star restaurant. Ever. Unattentive from start to finish: table sitting almost in hotel lobby, left us waiting after seating for 15 min without menus or wine, left glasses unfilled during entire meal, gave us different food despite us having the same set menu without offering aby explanations, offered us wrong coats when we left. Food was amazing. Unfortunately not good enough to compensate for the poor and completely disorganized service.

We went to Cortile Spirito Santo to celebrate my partners birthday. We had the five course seafood tasting menu. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. They dealt with extra requests graciously and with ease. I couldn’t recommend the restaurant more highly.
