The warm welcome, beautiful ambiance and delicious food made for a perfect evening. Most people don’t seem to notice but I think the precision in lighting adds greatly to the atmosphere of the restaurant and the Cosimo comes as near to perfect as I have experienced in a long, long time. The menu and wine list both had a good variety and every item the three of ordered was delicious and appealing to the eye. This was the perfect start to our week in Florence.

Great food ! The restaurant is well de orated and the view is exceptional especially if you are going at sunset. The staff is extremely nice. Will come back when in Florence.

This is a great lunch or dinner spot to take in the views of Florence and the Arno river. I have celiac and the staff accommodated my dietary restriction for gluten free throughout the meal, including the gluten free bread and pasta. The wine list was incredible and the staff were quite knowledgeable. Book in advance for a sunset view.

If this isn't at least mentioned in Michelin guides within year, never mind have a star, I'd be surprised. The quality of the ingredients and cooking and service all stand out, as does the beautiful setting and exquisite interior design.

The food was out of this world. The oysters were the best I have ever had, the chicken dish not far off that accolade either. We are learning that Italians share food. The chicken ended up being enough for our table of three to share together with the sides I had ordered after we had all had out starters / pastas, etc. It was perfect.

We’ve eaten in many places around the would and this had to be one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had. We were celebrating my 40th as a group of 4 and they didn’t miss a beat. From the first email to the last sip of wine it was 🔥👌🏾

I have never, ever in my whole 35 years on this Earth have had such an amazing dining experience as I had at Se°Sto on Arno. I was blown away with every bite from every dish, and the Classico Negroni I enjoyed is quite literally the best I have ever had.

We are guests since many years 3-5 times a year. The Location is one of the best in florence. The Food is always excellent. Normally, we get served perfectly. This time after we got the table and the menue no one took care of us. I called a waiter and asked dir the wine list, I got it, nur he did not come back to ask what wine I like to order. Just for an example. The Restaurant was crowed half, 9 people in Service. May be it was to hot that day and they were tired. We had so many nice stays at this restaurant in the past, so next time in Florence we will try again.

The view is amazing. The food is good. But the service is appalling. It isn't that the staff aren't nice. They are. There is no shortage of them, either. But they just don't understand service. We had to ask for everything about three times. We had to get up to fetch staff over. When at the end I complained the manager didn't say sorry but laughed! It was €250 for three people to have a light lunch with almost no alcohol (two glasses of wine). The meal was, as a result of the poor service, frustrating and disappointing.

We had lunch here in between tours in the city. The venue itself is very nice, with a stunning view of the surrounding city and country-side and the service was top notch. The gazpacho was excellent. This was one of the most expensive meals we had during our 16 day stay in Italy and Spain, including 3-4 course dinners with 1-2 bottles of wine.

As usual , the great professionalism of the chef , his staff and the sommelier was amply supported by the extraordinary view of the Tuscan hills We appreciated in particular the flexibility demonstrated to accommodate the food allergies of one of our guest. This was our third time at your restaurant and it will not be the last!

Had a seat outdoor (good view) but maybe due to summer, it has some flies flying around and rather irritating. We even had a bug flew to our table. I have to clear it away and many eyes are looking at me.

Nice lunch with a good wine and excellent pasta. Tiramisu was excellent. View can’t be beat. A bit pricey but well worth a visit for a special lunch.

Least favorite restaurant I dined at during my two week trip through Italy and Greece. Staff was cold and distant after it was apparent I did not want to order two courses. Had to ask for my check two times and wait for 35 minutes while they avoided my table. I got the feeling that if you don't spend enough money at this place they treat you differently. I was overly polite the entire time as well. Would not recommend eating here but it would be a nice place to grab a drink for the view.

The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. It was our 1 year anniversary and they appeared to take very special care of us. Food was great…… the restaurant was much more fancy than I’m used to dining at. The experience , coupled with the rooftop appeal of the beautiful sunset , was outstanding.

Was a fantastic experience. This was our last dinner in Florence during our vacation. It was a wonderful way to take in a final look on the city and the sunset during dinner was breathtaking. The food, wine, dessert, and service were incredible.

The view is magnificent. The service was very attentive. It is quite pricey, which is what you pay for with this great view. The food was very good and the drinks were nice. Overall a very nice experience.

Had a lovely time at Sesto on Arno. Wonderful view, very good wine selection, exceptional service. Definitely recommend visiting this restaurant on top of the Westin Excelsior.
