Incredible meat board! We enjoyed the vinho verde com pressão and the lovely weather on the terrace. Kind and prompt service with a smile too. Highly recommend.

8.5/10The food was excellent but they do try to use the common scam of bringing bread and other things to your table. If you accept it, they will charge you extra. It’s a bit sketchy but the meat was pretty good.

8.5/10Food was good the young man who served us was nice was nice and friendly however we were charged for bread and a dip we didn’t order. The manager refunded us but said that we shouldn’t have eaten it and we said we thought it was complementary. He said all respond Portugal do this but we said we had been there for a week and that was the first restaurant to do this to us. Usually bread you don’t order is complementary world wide in my experience. Also I noticed the managers we’re sitting around looking miserable

5/10Let's start with the good: the food was good. The ribeye was perfectly grilled and very tasty. The bad: As mentioned in several reviews online, the service at the table was okay, but when it came to the bill: awful. We took a couvert but didn't use the butter. It was on the bill. When I used my credit card, my bill was 10% higher than the one displayed. The waiter told me that he had heard me say that the bill should be raised to 56 euros. Both were corrected, but only after I asked. Finally, a coffee with milk was €1.5 according to their website, but I was charged €2.5. This was on the menu, but they took it away after ordering, so I couldn't check, Several reviews on TripAdviser had the same experience. Impression: We had good food, no problem with that, but if this is normal practice here, I would characterise the restaurant as a 'tourist trap' that should be avoided. Sphere: We were the only guests in a very large restaurant.

10/10The ribs was nice and tender. They felled off the bone. The chips(fries) were hot and fresh. My preference is to cook the barbecue sauce on the ribs and that would make it a true five star. I truly enjoyed my meal. The staff was extremely friendly and easy to communicate with. I will definitely be recommending this restaurant to a plethora of individuals.

6/10We had a starter of olives and of Algarve carrots followed by two rib-eye stakes, a salad, two sweets and a glass of wine each. First off we had one small bowl of mixed olives and carrot and not the two separate bowls that we had ordered otherwise they were quite nice. The two rib-eye steaks we ordered turned out to be cheaper sirloin steaks but were cooked and presented OK and came with some chips; the salad was really quite good. Our deserts were disappointing, and the glass of wine was all right. Service was efficient though missing any charisma or engagement. The advert in the 'The Fork' said that there would be a discount of 50% on all the menu (except drinks) but when the bill came only the steaks were discounted. Clearly the restaurant knew when we booked that this was a 'ForkFest' meal and used every device possible to maximise their take for the meal. As residents and also running a holiday lets firm we will not be advising our 100's of clients to use this restaurant.

7/10We found this restaurant to be expensive but we were using the fork deal therefore it was reasonable. The ribeye steaks were tasty and tender but the weight included a thick layer of fat. Our steak came on the plate with a mound of rice and a side plate of thin fries to share. No creativity or colour on the plate.
