The food was unremarkable, which in Sicily amounts to a crime. The restaurant itself was anything but inviting—being part of a hotel, and most likely doubling as the breakfast room, did it no favours. The lighting was more reminiscent of a police interrogation room, and as for the noise: the layout and materials produced such reverberation that one could scarcely hear one’s dining companion without raising one’s voice.

It was a pleasant experience- the place is not big but the food was really delicious especially the canolo with shrimp - worth a stop

CR21 is a high-quality fusion restaurant rooted in Sicilian tradition. The starters featuring raw fish and the gnocchi with red shrimp tartare were excellent. However, the main course—cod with sfincione sauce, Ragusano fondue, and toasted breadcrumbs—proved to be slightly flat. The service is faultless, and the ambiance is very pleasant. Highly recommended.

We were visiting Palermo for four nights and only discovered this restaurant on the third night. What an incredible restaurant this is, in particular the Maître d' was exceptional in his professionalism and attentiveness. The kitchen staff was visible from our table and again looked the part and were very efficient. Of course ambience is one thing but food quality is also an important factor, no worries here though, this was my best meal of 2025. A memorable dining experience, so much so that we returned here for our last evening in Palermo.

Everything was outstanding from start to finish. My husband and I both tried the duck breast glazed with red berries dish, and it was among the finest we’ve ever had — perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious. The service was both cordial and attentive, completing a wonderful dining experience.

Fabulous amuse bouche, with a marinated mushroom, Good starters fair main seafood dishes, seemed to us like modernized Palermo cuisine. Also a decent wine menu. Service was friendly and forthcoming but needs better training / education in its field. Ambiente is very modern and sleek, but suffered by the fact that it is the breakfast room for the attached suite hotel which felt more like a canteen.

+3The restaurant looks fancy, with nice deco, nice hand wash, clean and modern. The cooking is far from fine dinning yet charging a fine dinning price. The bread and bread sticks were stale or from yesterday. We didn't eat them and no one cares why we didn't eat them. The amuse bouche was okay, lacking depth. The signature cannoli was disappointing, style over substance, with poor execution. The amberjack was overcooked, the fish was salty and over seasoned, the skin was chewy. The squid was overcooked and chewy too. The restaurant was full of hotel guests which gave you an idea, we should have left. We let the front desk know we didn't enjoy the meal, nothing was done. There were only two staffs, the table were very close to each other, the service was very rush. The cutlery holder was very cool, the handwash and bathroom were great too. Food - there are better fine dinning option, don't waste your time and money here.

Great food beautifully cooked and presented, made for a lovely evening with excellent service, we spent more than the average even with 20% discount, but it was worth it. Felt like a treat.

The food was delicious! Everything we tasted was really wonderful, real attention to detail. The service was excellent and a very relaxing environment. would Def recommend! Also there are some unusual combinations and Ingredients on offer compared to other more traditional Sicilian places. overall a very enjoyable experience.

The service was not good. We dienst have the feeling that we were welcome. We had the feeling that we needed to be out of there asap. The food itself was mostly tasteful but we did not get any explanation of what was in our plate. The ‘chefs vegetable’ dish was super dissapointing. In a season with a lot of vegetables in the market (where we went in the morning) the chef could have used much more season vegetables instead of broccoli, 2 kind of onuitstaanbaar and one mushroom. Overall a really dissapointing last evening of our holiday.

The food was excellent but the service was not. I really do not want to give a negative review but I booked this restaurant because it had such a high score and I would like to give an honest review. Great food, great ingredients but very poor service, they barely even acknowledged us.
