The Crotto is a special place to go and an unforgettable experience afterwards. The menu comprehends a variety of local recipes and promotes local products. The Staff is professional and friendly as well, which makes the place's atmosphere relaxing.

Second time there and still marvellous. Impeccable dishes, quality of the food and wine selection. A must do. Pet friendly as well !

The restaurant is really at the outskirts of Como. You can walk there, but don't expect a pleasant hike, the last 500m are along a busy road and somewhat dangerous. Take a taxi on your way back in any case! But the food is really good, the best I've had in Como, and the service is very friendly.

We where a group of 5 friends and we had an amazing evening! Food was incredible, wine recomendations and selection was excellent, service was outstanding!!!! the sommelier Stafano was just amazing. Could not be a better experience. i will certainly be back. Thank you !!!

We had an excellent meal- the menu had excellent fish and meat options for all courses. The wine list was also extensive, and the waitstaff helped us pair our meal with an excellent bottle of red wine. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend. The staff was even kind enough to order a taxi since we did not have good cell coverage to get back to our hotel.

This restaurant is amazing, the atmosphere is excellent, the staff so friendly and the food is delicious! Don’t worry about parking there is a car park right outside the restaurant. Fabulous end to a holiday in Como.

everything was excellent, except for the fish lake food . The type of fish was not stated in the menu. When I asked they told me it was silurus fish which is not a traditional lake fish and in Italy it is not commonly eaten (considered not really eatable)

Such a gorgeous hidden gem with parking & lots of outdoor tables. The food selection is a little different but still Italian & very nicely prepared & presented. I will definitely go back.

Great find off the tourist beaten path in the hills behind Como. Wonderful outdoor patio dining amongst the locals in the know. Great dinner setting and wonderful service.

Wonderful atmosphere. Welcoming staff. Excellent food. Extensive and well priced wine list. A bit of a trek to get here, but well worth it, especially for the ravioli with porcini mushrooms and the venison
