I last visited 20 years ago, before all the Michelin stars and that was one of the best meals I have ever had. Today I returned to the beautiful rooms and had a menu del dia. It was very difficult to choose, but everything was beautifully cooked and presented, in a style I would call ‘home cooking’ (at a level of excellence) The servers were all very kind and knowledgeable. I was eating alone and had been allocated a window seat, looking across the garden and the railway station to the sea. Such a different experience, but just as good in its own way. The place was buzzing. And a great visit to Sant Pol de Mar on a cool cloudy day. A special mention to the very hot havanera chillie (from Peru) with the mussels. Definitely the hottest I have ever eaten on the Iberian Penninsula. Thanks, it was a great experience. Best meal of my holiday.

Visited Sant Pau twice on our five day trip to Sant Pol. On the first visit we had a tasting menu, and every dish was truly excellent. We came back to try other dishes from the exciting menu, and were very pleased also this time. Thank you for having us, and for the great and friendly service ❤️

The food was good, presentation was nice, nothing blew me out of the water. At the end I waited forever for someone to bring me the check, I sat there for maybe 15-20 minutes wondering if there was another course or if they would bring the bill. I finally caught the waiters attention to bring the bill over.

Lunchtime set menu, Presentation good. Selection rather sparse Food quality above average Overall good, but inferior to the last few times we were there, although price vs quality rather good. Obviously when you select the a la carte menu is a very big difference, but also in price.

An absolute 10, they've done a great job in making this a special, yet affordable restaurant with outstanding dishes, very nicely served and delicious. The service is great and utmost friendly. Worth a trip to San Pol de Mar, it's half an hour from Barcelona.
