A beautiful venue, very cosy and welcoming. Food is OK, perhaps portions could be bigger and flavours somewhat stronger. Otherwise a nice visit

7/10Great tasting Indian food. The lamb was tender, the chicken was juicy, and the mango lassi was pretty good. However, the portions were slightly small. We had appetizers but still needed to purchase another bowl of rice during the mains to be full. The desert options are okay, but they ran out of the (only) one we wanted.

4/10Not serving tap water and charging 6,5 € for a medium bottle of mineral water. The food quality is average for an Indian restaurant in Amsterdam but overpriced and not generous is portions.

6.5/10We usually rate restaurants slightly more positively than they deserve. Unfortunately we can’t do so in this case. The food was ok, but the attitude of the waitress made it clear to us we were not welcome there. As example, we had to ask her to bring us clean plates after the starter - fried shrimps. We really didn’t feel like having our lamb Kashmiri or king prawn korma with skeletons of shrimp tails.
