Lovely setting right on waterfront, fantastic food and service. We had the Polvo Lagareiro which was beautifully cooked, tender and flavoursome. Definitely worth a visit.

Cataplana was full of shrimp, muscles & clams. Yummy. Staff were friendly and polite. Seafood Paella was a little dry.

We dined at Cultura Mediterránica hoping for a flavorful Mediterranean meal, but left disappointed. The prawn skewers were served with the digestive vein still intact—an unappetizing oversight. The “fried” prawns were barely fried, just sitting in a pool of oil with little seasoning or texture. Even with a 30% promotion, the food felt overpriced for the quality. The outdoor setting and view were lovely, but the kitchen didn’t match the ambiance. Service was fine, but not enough to redeem the experience. If you're after a scenic spot for a drink, it might be worth a stop. For a proper meal, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

We ordered seafood paella and a pitcher of white sangria. Both provided a lovely leisurely lunch

The location is absolutely charming. Located in a lovely fishing village on the Ria Formosa we were seated at a table with a view of the water. Our reservation was for 1900 and the restaurant was not very busy yet. The staff was very attentive and answered all our questions and offered suggestions. We had people in our group with food restrictions and everyone was able to find something to eat. The food arrived in a timely manner. The presentation was impressive and the skewers were spectacular. The food was absolutely delicious and even the picky eaters sampled dishes they wouldn’t normally eat and loved them. Everything was fresh , flavorful and cooked to perfection and the portions were plentiful. The cost was very reasonable. We have eaten here before and we will return.
