The portion sizes were so small for the price. There was no side dishes either so you order the lamb and you get 4 small cubes of it without anything with it.. The only thing that was tasty was the bread.. The service was slow.. Personally wouldn't recommend unless you are on a diet.

Every year we come to Rome for a few weeks and C&C is our favourite restaurant : great food and very nice people doing the service. The food is creative ( but not crazy) and we have never been disappointed, far from it . 10 on 10 on every category.

This was a very special dining experience. Each person along the way who greeted and welcomed us, took our order, served our amazing food and wished us well as we left was thoroughly professional and friendly. We began with the absolutely amazingly melt-in-your-mouth bread baked just for us, then shared the artichoke starter. I chose for my main course the pasta special, spaghettoni with grilled lemon, smoked salmon and squid ink - so delicious! My partner really enjoyed his amberjack fish in teriyaki sauce with delicate asparagus in bernaise sauce. We looked at the dessert menu but had no room so finished off with perfect decaf espresso. We could not have asked for better. Grazie mille!

We were recommended this restaurant by a student who was waiting on in Raphael, a restaurant in Bath, England. He was from Rome and said if we liked the food at Raphael we would love it at Cuoco e Camicia, as this was his favourite restaurant in Rome. We were not disappointed!!! The food was inspiring, the service was superb and the atmosphere friendly and relaxed. I can’t recommend this place enough.

One of the best dinners I’ve ever had in Italy. The tasting menu was absolutely outstanding - every dish beautifully crafted and full of flavor. The Barbera d’Alba recommended by the knowledgeable sommelier paired perfectly with the meal, making the entire evening unforgettable.

Everything about the food, service and ambience was 5 stars! Possibly the best meal my wife have ever had. We shared the mackerel starter which was perfectly smoked with a rich sauce and the crunch of the roasted rice. My wife had the lamb and I had the ravilolone. The lamb was perfectly cooked and the flavours of the venison and wild boar were delicious. The wines matched and enhanced the flavours beautifully, we finished with the pistachio parfait and grappa and Amari. The service was friendly, well informed and professional. We had a magic evening for our last night in Rome. If you are looking for a special evening with incredible food, do yourself a favour and make your way to Cuoco e Camilla. Buono, grazie mille

We've had dinner at Cuoco et Camicia about a dozen times. The food is truly refined, inventive and absolutely delicious: a gifted chef with consistently exceptional performance. The staff are delightful. Prices are commensurate with the quality of the cuisine: good value.

+1Wonderfully attentive and welcoming staff, and a fantastic culinary experience. This was the best food we had on our trip to Rome. Each course was spectacular, from the dish of the day (white ragu) to the complimentary fresh baked bread and whipped butter. We are still talking about it! Will definitely be back again :)

We really enjoy the food and place. However, we order a bottle of wine, that was not in good condition, when we ask for it to be change, they refuse and only offer a 50% discount, on the second bottle we order, but to be fair they need it to change it without any additional cost. We endend up paying for two bottles, only drinking one because the first one wasn´t drinkable at all. Apart from this, the service was good, and like I said the food and place is really good. I hope they take into account this feedback for further occasions.

Visited again after 3 years and were stunned again by the great food. It is a little gem in the large city of Rome, providing great service, a small but high quality selection of food and a reasonable wine list. I suggest to go for the degustation menu which combines a variety of the meals of the menu and provides a great experience for a reasonable price. We will be back... Grazie

High quality starters, risotto, and filet, fresh-baked bread, added culinary flourishes, lovely staff, and comfortable vibe in the dining room (wet evening; stayed inside). The lemon tart and strawberry pistachio desserts were equally amazing.

We did the six course tasting menu and everything was incredible! It was unlike anything we had eaten in Italy, and thought it was our best meal so far on our trip.

This is my favourite restaurant in Rome for a special occasion and an incredible dining experience. I have been to Cuoco and Camicia numerous times and have always had the tasting menu which never fails to impress. Delicious and innovative dishes and flavours, often a spin on Italian classics - great value, Michelin star quality without the price. The staff are always the same in this family business, and are attentive, helpful and courteous.

We chose the chef menu but it turned out that none of the dishes we want, showed up from chefs menu, very disappointed; Also raw shrimp happened twice as an appetizer and in the risotto. The pasta had very strong flavor because of anchovies, be careful. Would recommend a la carte to make sure you have what you want.
