9.5/10Amazing food and top notch service. We went off menu with catch of the day and daily specials and were not disappointed. Would recommend to friends and family alike. It was a little too bad their location wasn’t a bit better than along a major road, but it won’t stop me coming back, sitting on the patio

Delightful catch of the day, scorpionfish, with al dente linguine. Scorpionfish was filleted but wonderfully aesthetic illusion was created with the fish in which the fillet became the tail and the linguine looked like the body. Incredible snapper too. Lovely wine list. Impeccable customer service, dishes all explained and wine pairings recommended. Beautiful ambience with lovely place mats in the shape of fish.

10/10Great food and service. Our family of 10, including 3 children (5,8,11) all of whom are “foodies” totally enjoyed this experience. We ate early (6 PM), especially helpful for the 5 year old, but also meant that we had the restaurant almost to ourselves (good thing also because we became jovially loud as the evening progressed). Staff were super attentive and helpful.

This restaurant is a must visit in Sorrento, if you are a seafood fan! It is a little further out of the main 'busy' area of Sorrento, so a little further to walk but it is certanly worth it - the restaurant looks brand new, very clean, right modern and the food is just delicious! Restauranta da Bob deserves its michelin recommendation - the menu is varied, the chefs specials were delicious - we had the octopus salad and the lobster linguine specials.... both were fresh and delicious and reasonably priced. From the menu we had squid stuffed with aubergine parmegiana (it lives up to the other comment and great reviews about it!). The wine, was reasonably priced, we had Chardonnay by the glass, they had a good selection both by the glass and bottles. The waiter and waitress and maitre de, all very friendly, gave good recommendations and overll made it a great experience. I highly recommedning this place!

The fish is cooked to perfection — crispy on the outside, juicy and flaky on the inside. Whether it's fried snapper, grilled tilapia, or shrimp baskets, the seasoning hits every time. The vibe is casual and welcoming, and the portions are generous for the price. You can tell it’s made with love — no shortcuts, just real good cooking. 10/10The staff were great! The starters amazing, we had the trio of raw fish & octopus & my main was amberjack, lovely & hubby had cod which was good, he also had a dessert but can’t remember what it was, was nice too. Definitely ask to be seated outside, much nicer than inside.

10/10The service was the best we’ve had in Italy! The staff was warm, welcoming and helpful with suggestions and descriptions. The food was beautifully presented and had excellent flavor. There were unique items on the menu which was a very nice change. However, the options were still wonderfully “Italian.” We weee presented with a delicious amuse bouche before our dinner and also given a special shot of liquor at the end of the meal as a parting “gift.” Off the beaten path and worth every penny! Well priced for such a great experience.

9/10Very friendly and helpful staff. Some items in the menu were out of stock. Also my dietary restriction limited me a lot in their menu but they have offered items that were not in the menu as well. Amberjack fillet was okay. My tuna steak (was not in the menu) was a bit overcooked so dry outside but mostly pleasant. I would defineteiy come back but if the place was maybe %10 cheaper.

10/10Restaurant is a bit out of way and next to some fresh fish wholesalers. Whilst there's no sea view the food more than makes up for it. Staff are literally picking up fish from the wholesalers as orders come in. And the food is absolutely fantastic. Stand outs were a tuna tartare and mixed grill sharing platter of fish and seafood. Season is faultless and the staff are warm and efficient. It's not a cheap lunch, even by Sorrento standards but worth every single euro.

10/10Diamond in the rough! The service was Extremely high end, the food was out of this world! I had the catch of the day (scorpion fish). It was prepared to order and still surpassed my expectations. We were leaving the next day or we would have had dinner there again. Just an amazing experience.

10/10Myself, my husband, 12 year old and 9 year old all had a wonderful dinner tonight at Da Bob. My 12 year old is a picky eater but promised to eat something other than pasta tonight. He ended up devouring the octopus appetizer and his seared tuna. We all loved the tuna tartare and my daughter loved her shrimp risotto. The food was delicious and beautiful.

9.5/10What made our evening memorable was the fresh fish. Shortly after we ordered, we saw the chef leave and return with fresh fish in hand (literally)! It was quite the sight! Our dishes of bluefish, amberjack, clams, sardines and octopus were delicious!!
