Excellent food, excellent service! Amazing place to dine in Rome with a wonderful atmosphere!

We live in Rome and have brought friends here before and been happy. Tonight felt ‘off’ - seated outside way down the street. Wanted tap water for our dog’s bowl - but waiter refused to take the bowl and brought bottled water to the table instead. Lamb chops were such a huge disappointment. Random offcuts - not ‘chops’ as one would expect for the description or price. A very ordinary experience. Embarassed to have recommended this place.

Food was lovely - the waiter who served us was good. The restaurant was busy and we felt they were keen for us to leave - brought our bill before we asked for it by the manager and a card reader. We pointed out an error in the bill - we were overcharged for the wine. He wasn’t apologetic though the waiter was when he bought the revised bill

Pizza was burnt, veal was very dry and braised veal shank was dry & risotto was inedible. Lamb chops were overcooked. We were one of the first tables there so I'm not sure why our meals were overcooked since they had time to prepare our meals properly. Service was good but we were hopng for a better dining experience considering the meal was not cheap.

Service was slow, we ordered chestnut soup but it came within 30 mimutes and it was not enough hot . Despite it’s taste is good was not satisfactory. Pizza was good ,thin and wood oven cooked and again served in another half an hour. Although the soup is dressed with truffle, it was very expensive as 60€ for two. Average food high price.

The food was very good, but the service was 1/10, because we were ignored by the waiter several times. I asked for plates because we ordered dishes to share and he didn’t bring them, although he brought to the table next to us. Also the cutlery was not changed for some reasons, although it was changed for the guys next to us, seemed like Italian people were more welcomed in this restaurant than the foreigners. Felt very abandoned and the dinner took 2 hours 15 mins, mostly waiting for the waiter to come.

The food was as good as advertised by the reviews on Facebook. We came here because a celebrity chef said it was one of his favorites in Rome. It did not disappoint. Would highly recommend -make sure to have reservations.

Our server, and I’m so mad I can’t remember his name, was an absolute joy! Helped us pick out an appetizer that was ridiculously delicious (fried artichokes), btw. Also helped us picked out our champagne and wine. But now the food, oh my goodness, I don’t know what was better, my food or everyone else’s! All the pastas were amazing but the Amatriciana was hands down the best. A must have, as well as, the meatballs! Oh, and I’ll never have tiramisu in the states again. Never in my life had it like here, Fantastic!

We had such a lovely experience the first evening we went here, that we went back for lunch on the last of our 3 night/4 day trip to Rome. Marco looked after us so well, and the food was amazing.

Great location, great varied menu with food very well prepared and presented. The waiter was very friendly, attentive, entertaining, knowledgeable which made the evening very pleasurable. Would definitely recommend and would return again.

Glad to see a mix of locals and tourists - a very fine attention to detail with the use of high quality eggs and pasta to make our carbonaras. The one slight criticism - the pasta was ever so slightly undercooked; but it won't deter me from going again when I'm next in Rome

Lasagne not reheated properly and I have been ill since. Tables too close together. Very small glasses of wine. Overly expensive. Disregard Trip Advisor more positive reviews as they are questionable.

The restaurant was very close to our Airbnb and always seemed crowded so we tried it our last night in Rome. They only had a 7.30pm and sat us outside very close to two other couples near the end with bright lights. Luckily both couples were nice so it worked out. We got a house Chianti bottle for $35, husband got bacala cod and really liked it (not salted) with potatoes. I got my first mushroom pizza in Italy which was wood fired and thin and really good. It was our best dinner in 4 days. Would recommend.

Our service was impeccable! My favorite glass of wine, carbonara, and tiramisu was found at this beautiful gem in Rome❤️ The wait staff here is so lovely and the pasta was truly unforgettable

It was not only the best meal we had in Rome but the best meal we had in our 14 day trip in Italy. Was the food good, of course but what really made it special was the whole staff. We didn't get lucky with a really fun server. Everyone was like that. It was very welcoming and made us feel like we were a part of something special. We will be going back every year!

Perfecto!! The place, the food, the SERVICE, the quality and cleanliness. Authentic italian restaurant recommended by an italian. We tried pasta, pizza, lamb, wine etc. Everything was belissima!! We were there with kids of 4 and 7 yo and they absolutely loved their spaghetti and were treated wonderfully. Grazie a Chris and all members of the team for the warm welcome and amazing service. We hope to be back again! Great value for money as well for such a classy restaurant. A real gem!

We had a pizza and a few starter appetizers and the food was great as well as the service.
