Amazing service, welcoming host, and excellent food. When the experience is this good, you can look past some of the slightly pricey menu. Could be worse though, come here!

Nice restaurant in the city center of Milan. The food is really good and the ambiance in extreme comfy. I would recommend this as a place for people who work in the area and need a restaurant for their regular lunches.

We both really enjoyed our meal at Da Gigi...my husbands steak was excellent and such good value for money. Service was really good and very friendly. Just a word of forewarning even though I booked a table through the Fork and I mentioned that we had booked a table...we were treated as a walk in and no discount applied. This really didn't matter to us...we enjoyed our evening.

Our waiter very attentive, interesting and chatty. His English is excellent as he had spent time in England and has a family member currently living there. Our food choices, in this case pizza, were perfect. One of us being a coeliac which meant that that meal had to be gluten free. Gluten free not a problem at Da Gigi. Separate cooking facilities. The GF pizza is the best experienced to date. Home made dessert 'special' - traditional Dolci milano caldo al grand marnier for non GF was great. (GF Panacota also very good). We always intended going here (checked for GF's on The Fork app); wished we had not left it 'til last evening, else would have more than once, being just 5 mins walk from hotel. Alas the heat wave (early July 2025) was a disincentive for further exploring in the evening. Good wine. Lovelly ambience, nice 'buzz', being fairly busy, everything we wanted an Italian restaurant to be for an evening meal. Gigi is our 'go to' restaurant next time we're in Milano.

The food is good! We tried the Ossobuco and were very pleased with the dish. The quantity is excellent and the flavour is also impressive. The staff were super kind and communicated well in English the whole time.

+1The staff were so kind and attentive! We sat inside and the ambience was nice. The antipasti was amazing. Definitely recommend their stuffed zucchini flower and calamari. The people next to us ordered pizza and that looked great as well but we had too much to eat, so we didn’t order more food.

we ordered everything seafood and the portions were generous. the 2 servers were very prompt and attentive. not much waiting needed to place order and for the dishes to arrive. loved the energetic vibes of the restaurant. true Italian hospitality.

Food and wine was very good also like price. Only problem that there was a nice and beautiful garden with free tables, and they didn’t let us sit there 😔

Good food, asked for gluten free carbonara and shrimp risotto, and it was all really good and safe from gluten. Unfortunately the majority of deserts are not gluten free. The service was really. It was a bit pricey, but with the fork discount it was a fair price. Would come again

All our selections (2apps + 3 entrees + 3 desserts) were unique, tasty and visually appealing. Service was prompt, friendly and humorous.

Nice busy place. Starter good. Osso buco good. A shame though that the cotaletta was a very thin schnitzel.

If you come to Milan and don't try its most traditional dishes, then it wasn't a nice trip! The owners are both SUPER nice, and they speak English. Food is delicious, too. The prices are fair and the portions are well served. Plus, it's very close to the Centrale station. Couldn't ask for a better restaurant option. I'm glad I chose it.

The restaurant has a great atmosphere. The food is amazingly good. The waiter Andreas gave us great tips that made our dinner unforgettable. Highly recommend the experience.

Delicious food and great service. I enjoyed the seafood pasta baked inside a pizza dough! Staff was attentive and food was very fresh! Highly reccomended!

Excellent osso bucco with risotto, juicy and tender. Côtelette was a bit dry to my taste. Pleasant service and a cosy and authentic setting. I recommend!
