Although it was New Years Eve, service and food were both excellent! Thank you and if we come back to Bologna we will visit again Da Lucia for sure! 10 out of 10!

Generally, very good quality of food. Elegant with tasteful plates. Portions are small, given the price! Overall, suggested for an elegant dinner.

Lovely restaurant outside the typical tourist trap area. Walk five minutes more and discover this gem. The menu is interesting, the food, ambience and staff amazing.

A delicious meal in a calm sophisticated atmosphere. The dishes had a beautiful appetizing appearance. The waitstaff was attentive without being overly so. The music was low, allowing my wife and I to actually have a conversation. It was a perfect date night. Thank you!

The food is beautifully cooked and the presentation is visually appealing. There is much thought taken into the combination of ingredients and flavours. The complex sauces/jus/dressings that accompany the dishes take the dishes to another level. We focused on the seafood and fish offerings then finished with the passion fruit inspired dessert. The meal was one of the best we had in Italy.

Excellent food, bit expensive as the portions for the antipasti were tiny. The veal with a mackerel sauce mimicking a Vitello tonnato was just disappointing.

My wife and I spend New-year's eve in this excellent restaurant. Warm welcome, nice venue, friendly host. The 8 course menu was delicious and the proposed wine paired very well. A (small) point for improvement, when bringing the dishes at the table please spend a few words on the composition. Also the dishes came to fast, leaving some more time in between will add great value to the experience, but all in all a great place - we recommend it !!

Fine dining level food with casual dining level service. One of best meals we’ve had in Italy. Accommodated our request with a very fresh mixed greens salad (not on menu). Duck breast with vegetables and the Irish Angus beef with potatoes cook, flavors and presentation were exceptional. The chocolate “cupcake” with warm center, Chantilly cream and mango was a strong finish. The service…casual and at times amateurish. One server had to be shown how to open a wine bottle. He also grabbed a glass by the rim as he placed it on the table. Requests such as olive oil and salt/pepper or calling a taxi are quickly forgotten and must be re-requested. And, finally a nit…the staff needs to consider their uniforms which in my opinion (based on food and ambiance) needs a small upgrade. Overall, a very good experience.

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful meal. We are pescatarians which can limit choice in many restaurants but not here. The food was out of this world and the ambiance of the restaurant was warm, lively and fun. We will definitely return! Thank you !

Just the two of us shared starter cuttlefish lovely then we both had the steak cooked to perfection excellent bottle of chianti reserve very nice small restaurant with short menu something for all tastes.

Ths was our favourite meal in Bologna. Everything we had was well cooked, beautifully presented and hugely enjoyable. My husband thought his octopus was the best he had ever had,- so soft and succulent. It was incredibly busy but the two ladies serving were wonderful and treated us to a lovely glass of limoncello. Thank you for an excellent meal.

+1This little restaurant was slightly hard to find so allow a little extra time but you will not be disappointed. We arrived early for dinner and as the only guests were able to get our orders in before everyone else arrived at 20.00. We had the tuna and scallop starters. Delicious. I tried the local pasta and ragu. The creamy egg pasta went really well with the minced beef. The filled pasta with lamb ragu was also exceptional. The local white wine for €15 selected by the owner was perfect. The passion fruit mousse pudding is a must. Sensational. Highly recommended restaurant. Booking a must as people were having to wait for a table.

A small restaurant with just a few tables, so a reservation is a must. Food was amazing, with a nice selection of reasonably priced wines.

Was an amazing experience! The food and the atmosphere were great! The staff was friendly and everyone speak English very well. Hope we can visit Da Lucia again soon.
