Fine dining level food with casual dining level service. One of best meals we’ve had in Italy. Accommodated our request with a very fresh mixed greens salad (not on menu). Duck breast with vegetables and the Irish Angus beef with potatoes cook, flavors and presentation were exceptional. The chocolate “cupcake” with warm center, Chantilly cream and mango was a strong finish. The service…casual and at times amateurish. One server had to be shown how to open a wine bottle. He also grabbed a glass by the rim as he placed it on the table. Requests such as olive oil and salt/pepper or calling a taxi are quickly forgotten and must be re-requested. And, finally a nit…the staff needs to consider their uniforms which in my opinion (based on food and ambiance) needs a small upgrade. Overall, a very good experience.

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful meal. We are pescatarians which can limit choice in many restaurants but not here. The food was out of this world and the ambiance of the restaurant was warm, lively and fun. We will definitely return! Thank you !

Ths was our favourite meal in Bologna. Everything we had was well cooked, beautifully presented and hugely enjoyable. My husband thought his octopus was the best he had ever had,- so soft and succulent. It was incredibly busy but the two ladies serving were wonderful and treated us to a lovely glass of limoncello. Thank you for an excellent meal.

This little restaurant was slightly hard to find so allow a little extra time but you will not be disappointed. We arrived early for dinner and as the only guests were able to get our orders in before everyone else arrived at 20.00. We had the tuna and scallop starters. Delicious. I tried the local pasta and ragu. The creamy egg pasta went really well with the minced beef. The filled pasta with lamb ragu was also exceptional. The local white wine for €15 selected by the owner was perfect. The passion fruit mousse pudding is a must. Sensational. Highly recommended restaurant. Booking a must as people were having to wait for a table.

A bit of confusion over timing of booking but sorted with a complementary glass of fizz! Really interesting menu with beautifully presented dishes. Great wine selection too. Atmosphere was buzzy and friendly.

We had an amazing experience in every way. The service was friendly and accommodating to our desires, the food was simply amazing with the Gnocchi being a stand out dish and the wine that they suggested to pair with each course of the meal was fantastic and local. I would highly recommend!

We tried a few of the recomended restaurants while visiting Bologna, this was the best for sure. Real fine dining, interesting dishes superbly cooked and wonderfully presented. The staf make you feel immediatly at home, an wonderful experience!

Our appetizers were Beef Tartare and Sweetbreads. Absolutely delicious. We followed with Tortellini Soup and Octopus with roasted pumpkin and squid ink sauce. Both were terrific.

My adult daughter and I had a lovely dinner at Da Lucia. We split a beautifully prepared steak tartare. My daughter then had the seafood gnocchi while I had the ragù bolognese. The menu is heavily oriented towards seafood. The stars of the evening were the desserts. They were well prepared and beautifully presented. Wines by the glass were very good

Small restaurant with really good food. Interesting menu with a number of seafood choices. Cheese plate was a great starter. We enjoyed two pasta dishes including one with traditional regular. Desert was also delightful. Recommended.

The Tagliolini with prawns, clams and carciofi was extraordinary, and had us dissecting how the chef managed to elevate this dish to heavenly status. It was quite simply astounding. All other dishes were lovely too. The restaurant is small with a good buzz and a queue of hopefuls/but did not book outside. The decor does needs to improve to lend warmth and ambience. Otherwise a must visit for foodies.

the portions were really small, the spaghetti were fresh and good tasting, but the calamari-pieces smell like harbour, the turbot was good, but the vegetables , I think it was chard, was bitter; the lemon sorbet was very good

We regret to read negative reviews on the quality of our products as every starting material used in the kitchen is strictly fresh, including calamari. The bitter vegetables were not chards but chicory, bitter is that flavor that distinguishes them by combining them in taste to the preparation of the dish.

Buzzy small restaurant. All tables taken but very good service and pleasant atmosphere. Quite close to neighbouring guests however. Food was delicious, well presented and we were not rushed. A lovely place and I would go again.

The lamb was delicious and served beautifully. The amberjack was disappointing, just not enough flavor on the plate. Overall very good, would definately come here again.
