it was one of my most awesome dining experience. i was awing at every dish. Very surprising dishes. Chef did his utmost best. Complements to him or her. My husband could not have made a better choice. He already knows that when we visit Florence again where we are having our most romantic dinner again. kudos to the chef and staff.

Well... The food was exceptional, no doubt. 5 stars octopus, I would say. But there is no printed menu a la carte and ....the most strange thing for us: not allowed to order a set menu, if your companions made an order a la carte...oh, by the way: the set menu is blind!

The atmoshere in the restaurant is very relaxing and you know that the dinner will be good after the welcoming of the staff, very courteous and punctual in every in every points. The dishes are stunning (raw fish unbelievable). I will suggest for a dinner of 2 or maximum 4 people. Just one note: temperature a bit warm inside being in summer (the leather chairs do not help you), knives and fork maybe a bit small for "big" men. Anyway 9 of 10. Enjoy it!

DA SCOPRIRE - Il Da' Pescatore è un ristorante situato nel cuore di Firenze all'interno di una struttura d'immenso valore storico, una ex chiesa anglicana attigua alla basilica del Carmine e nota per la sua cappella Brancacci e gli affreschi del Masaccio.

OPERE D'ARTE - La cucina propone "piatti che si fanno riconoscere non solo per le luci e i colori che li compongono, ma soprattutto per i mezzitoni e le sfumature che vi si aggirano intorno". Qualche esempio? Il Branzino al limone con olive e capperi o i Crostacei su taglierini freddi, le specialità al vapore come la Trota su crema di riso o l'Aragosta alla catalana, e ancora le portate alla brace come le Capesante e foie gras al caramello o i Gamberoni arrosto su polenta speziata. Ottima anche la frittura, con piatti come il Baccalà con la sua maionese o la Frittura di calamari e insalata aromatica.

CASA DI CUCINA - Un ambiente raccolto e ricco di suggestione, in cui la missione dello chef Daniele è quella di far scoprire alla clientela la differenza tra il semplice andare al ristorante ed il lato più esaltante dell'esperienza del cibo. Una vera e propria "casa di cucina", perché l'ambiente del ristorante Da' Pescatore vuole offrire agli ospiti quella dimensione in cui ognuno è messo nelle condizioni di sentirsi a suo agio
