When asking questions about the Food and drinks we got a bad attitude back feeling that we should just order and shut up. The Food was ok but I dont understand why this restaurant was mentioned on the Michelin site, were we found this restaurant.
Da PodeThank you for your feedback and for coming to Tuscany to experience our culinary traditions. We’ve been well known for the quality and authenticity of Tuscan food since the 1990s. It is very rare for us to get a bad review. Firstly, we did not charge for the dish. Secondly, the waiter was young and quite shy. However, you showed him a photo of a bloody steak: the meat of an animal that was recently slaughtered or that had suffered a terrible death. This is not part of Tuscan culinary culture or the culture at our restaurant. As explained, our meat undergoes a "maturing" process of about 30/45 days. Therefore it cannot be cooked in the same way as unethical or fast food. We cook according to tradition and the best ethical standards. This is one of the reasons we are in the Michelin guide.

We had a fantastic lunch at Da Pode while passing through in our way to Tuscany. It was surprisingly quiet when we were there - though presumably mid-March is not peak season. The food was excellent (especially the artichoke salad) and the service was attentive and accommodating of our inability to speak Italian. Overall, a great experience in a beautiful setting.

+4Beautiful outdoor shaded terrace with amazing food quality and 5 star service. Steaks are amazing and favorite pastas were ravioli porcini and pici ragu. Return visitors - book ahead!

The food was good, we went there on June, lunch was served outside which was around 35 degrees, the set up was not well designed or equipped for a comfortable meal in summer. Thus I advice to go for a dinner instead.

Spotless cuisine, amazing service. We tasted one of the best deserves we ever had (caramel cheesecake). The entire staff was super kind, caring. For sure a restaurant to visit more than once.

Da Pode never disappoints! Superb pastas, excellent meat course, service very attentive. It’s a very attractive restaurant in a lovely setting. When the weather permits, dining on the terrace is a treat! Highly recommend!

Very pleasant experience and we'll prepared, traditional food. Wonderful terrace seating with a typical "Tuskany view". Highly recommended!
