5.5/10The service was amazing — our server was very sweet and knowledgeable. However, I’m absolutely baffled by previous good reviews about the food. I had the “special” which was the duck, and while it was decently cooked, the flavor was completely blah. I ordered a side of the grilled vegetables which also had no flavor. My wife ordered the salmon, which honestly looked more like chicken and was absolutely unappetizing. I’ve made better food at home, and quite frankly, I’m not a great cook. Highly, highly disappointing. It’s a pity too, because there is so much amazing food in Florence and again, the service was wonderful.

9.5/10The food was outstanding. From the spinach soufflé with Parmesan, to the sea bass and pork tenderloins, everything was amazing. Then there was the pistachio pannacotta - yum. It was a perfect dinner.

10/10Great ambiance, excellent service-the owner and servers were all amazing, and the pastas were fresh and delicious. Great recommendation for excellent Tuscan wine to start off the dinner. Highly, highly recommend - our favorite dinner in Florence this trip!

The staff was so lovely and someone to personally go to every table to explain the menu and specials and recommendations. Food was stellar—seafood pasta and pork dish was divine. Deserts… we couldn’t pick from the amazing home made goodness—the lovely staff did a blind pick for us and we had a blast. Can’t be happier. We’ll be back soon. Tomorrow you say? 🥰🤭🦋🙏

We have been to this restaurant 5 times. It has been 7 years since our last visit and it was still great. The scallop pasta was perfect, I love it. Thank you Domenico for the great service. We will definitely visit again.

10/10Da Que Ganzi is a staple for us. We've been going there for years, and I always bring new people to eat there - and they are never disappointed. I personally love the fish dishes, and particularly the scallop appetizer - but everything is good. And Domenico is an excellent host, Jessica a very nice server, and there is a good selection of wine, all at a reasonable price. A local place, it provides a very nice all around local experience.

10/10Absolutely the best meal we had in Florence! Food was amazing. It’s not touristy but the staff were accommodating and friendly to non-Italian speakers. All of the beef and seafood pasta dishes we had were outstanding in food quality, preparation and presentation. Don’t skip dessert! Their specials are the way to go.

10/10Lovely restaurant with amazing food, great service, and very warm staff. We had a 1:15 pm lunch reservation but arrived about 35 minutes late (rain/lines at the Uffizi/etc.) The owner/manager welcomed us with a smile, never rushed us, made some wonderful suggestions, and had fantastic wine recommendations. One of my favorite meal during my ten day trip to Italy. Thank you to everyone at Da Que Ganzi. Book or visit this restaurant -you will not be disappointed.

We had a wonderful meal and experience. The scallops gratin was surprisingly perfect! The tuna was very tasty and the fried seafood hit every high note. We asked for a wine recommendation and ar €22 it was delicious and paired with deliciously with our meal. Everyone was so gracious and friendly.

10/10Every time I go to Florence I make sure I have dinner here ! The food is simply amazing and it is always so welcoming ! This is a must do place to eat when visiting Florence. (I even took a train from Bologna just so have dinner here on my trip)

10/10I am so glad we found this restaurant. It was the perfect place to spend Christmas Eve. The staff was friendly and attentive and the food was terrific. If you like seafood it is a great place to enjoy dinner.

8.5/10This restaurant was recommend to us by our hotel. The owner went out of his way to welcome us and inform us about the menu. Clearly very passionate about the local Tuscan food, which didn’t disappoint. The food was excellent, the wine was superb. A true Tuscan restaurant in the hear of Florence.

10/10This restaurant is in my neighborhood and is my favorite in the Santa Croce area. I have been going here for years and the food and service are always superb. One of the owners is a sommelier and will suggest the perfect wine to go with your meal. Highly recommended!

We've been here three times during our ten day visit to Florence. It has been fantastic every time. Domenico, the owner, oversees every detail. Jessica, part of the wait staff, is so friendly and helpful. The food is wonderful! Definitely try the Lamprodotto with potatoes and porcini!

10/10Everything we got on the menu was very tasty! Especially the mussels. Prices are affordable. Service was quick, attentive, and helpful. Honestly above and beyond compared so some other restaurants we ate at. I confirmed a reservation almost a month ago. They even called me to confirm day of the reservation and had our table for a large group ready with no wait-really appreciate the communication. I highly recommend this restaurant. If I am ever in the area once again, I will definitely return.

10/10A small,cozy place with great food! We had amazing pasta and bistecca fiorentina and the best homemade tiramisu we had in Florence. Great service and value for money. We will certainly come back!
