10/10What can you say about a restaurant where you are greeted by people who remember you; where food continues to be consistently of high quality, where the ambience indicates that local people value what is offered and that people like I continue to return? It is great to see it flourishing and I am grateful each time I return! Many thanks to all who continue to make this a real success.

We read other great reviews and made our reservations too. They had turned people away at the door without a booking, so plan in advance. Meal was excellent, my husband loved 2 different pasta dishes especially the Fettucine bolognese. I had the sea bass twice it was delicious. Best meals we had in Rome.

10/10It is always a joy to return to this restaurant. It is also a great recommendation that people remember who you are! The food is always consistently good, the staff very friendly and efficient and the family atmosphere most appealing. I also love the attention to details with good table cloths and material napkins. Make sure to book ahead because locals, pilgrims and tourists and even those like me who come to Rome to work in meetings all wish to eat here. Many thanks for another great meal.

10/10Excellent trattoria with varied cuisine and excellent service. Excellent price/quality ratio. It is necessary to book a table in advance, because there are not many seats, and the trattoria is always full.

8/10We arrived on time for our noon reservation. The restaurant is in an alley and looks kind of non-descript from the front. The doors to the restaurant were closed. Eventually a gentleman came over and told us to come back in 20 minutes. We were stuck outside in the 35C sun. We were finally sat at around 12:25. The staff was finishing up their service meeting and all sitting around a table. The restaurant has a side of glass that looks at an old Roman building wall. It's actually very cool and looks much more elegant inside than from the front outside. Our food was delicious! My gf had the Cacio e pepe pasta which was awesome! I had a seafood special with gnocchi. It was very flavorful and tasty. Overall, I enjoyed our dining experience there very much even though we got off to a shaky start with the lackadaisical behavior of staff and the delayed seating. Why take reservations for 12, if you do not want to open until 12:30? But, I would highly recommend their food.

10/10This is my favourite restaurant in Rome. We come back as often as we can when we are in Rome. Staff are amazing, so helpful and kind. The menu is extensive with a lot of daily options. Food is great quality, always well cooked and presented, and good portions. The restaurant itself is lovely to sit in with a view of the old city walls which is very atmospheric. I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.
