My husband and I ate here twice 8 months ago and the food and the service were great. Tonight-not so much. The man I assumed to be the owner seated us and turned on the heater and then went into a corner to smoke. I don’t think he is the previous owner or he was just a substitute. The waitress did not seem to know the menu well, although she was nice enough. The wine was delivered to us at the table in a decanter instead of in a bottle and then decanted. The salumi appetizer was quite good, my husband’s lamb was ok and my gnocchi were gooey. The two young men we were with with don’t know much at all about food but they finished their pasta.

The attention received from the personel was outstanding. We tried Carbonara, Amatricciana and a salad, and everything was perfect. Portion sizes were the exact right amount. You end up completely filled up w/out feeling heavy stomach. House wine was very good. Totally recommended.

It is within a 5-minute walking distance. The atmosphere and service are genuine (non-touristic). The food was very good and cheaper than in many other places (even without the discount for booking through The Forks).
