6/10This was our 2nd visit, first one was so enjoyable - however on this visit the food was far less than average - service lovely and staff owner amazing - won’t be going back

10/10Absolutely wonderful meal at Danioti. Otilia was so accommodating with our fussy eater, going out of her way to make something especially for him. Buratta and fresh foccaia starter was deliciously creamy. Main course pastas and fish were perfectly cooked. Service was impeccable, very attentive but not over powering. We would definitely recommend and will be back on our next visit to Alicante

10/10Danioti exceeded our expectations! First off the view is 10/10! The service was the best we have experienced in all of Spain! And the food was spectacular! The pizza with prosciutto was so good. Very special! I can’t recommend it enough. We can’t wait to come back. The owners are so charming and kind and wonderful hosts! Congratulations to them. A truly memorable experience.

10/10Really stellar service, welcomed us, delicious food & a lovely peaceful outlook over the marina to the castle on the hill. Nothing was too much trouble. Really lovely from start to finish. We had the mozzarella Caprese salad, pasta vongole & mushroom/truffle risotto - all excellent.

9/10The view at the harbor was very nice and set a pleasant mood, the waiter was very friendly and made us feel comfortable during the visit, enriching the whole experience. Also the served focaccia was deliciously light, making it a great apetizer.

10/10A hidden gem in Alicante! Lovely Italian food, personal service, and a magic view of the harbour and the castle. Well worth the four minute stroll along the boardwalk from Bar Samoa or Hotel Meliã

10/10Fabulous views over the marina and fabulous food. Three of us have the fixed menu and two from the à la carte. We had a couple of bottles of wine and soft drinks. We shared starters between all of us from the fixed menu and then we shared the deserts so there was plenty of food for everyone even though our two daughters only had a pasta dish each as they don’t normally eat much! The service was great and the waiter spoke excellent English although of course we love to try a bit of Spanish as well. Very impressed with the food and service and would absolutely recommend this place. I had the seabass which was delicious.

4/10Very dissatisfied with the food and service. Too expensive for buffet quality food. Italian restaurant with no pizza? Very hot. Very slow service. Owner complained about too many people and asked for patience when we did not even complain. It was reservations only, so they knew exactly how many people they were having. Won’t come back.

10/10This was the perfect dining experience. The staff was so kind and personable. Our waiter was perfect with our children and the food was spectacular. We felt taken care of and at home at Danioti. My mom and my son ordered a carbonara spaghetti and loved it so much the chef even came out to discuss the recipe with them. If you’re looking for an elegant, but uncomplicated family place to experience the top quality food this is the place to go. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

10/10Amazing restaurant with great views over the marina and castle. The husband and wife team are the real wow factor, they clearly love food and this shows in the dishes. Excellent value and extremely friendly restaurant. We really enjoyed our dinner here and are looking forward to go back the following evening.

10/10We had a lovely meal, but the icing on the cake had to be the service from the husband & wife owners - absolutely superb. They had run an evening servic e off the back of a very busy Sunday afternoon service, yet they ensured that we were well looked after. Highly recommended.

10/10Really good quality, tasty food that arrived piping hot … which I like! The staff were super attentive. The cava was the nicest I tasted in Alicante. It was a little quiet as it was early January but a lovely location overlooking the marina. Would highly recommend.

10/10Wow! What a fantastic night spent at Danioti for New Years Eve! Those guys worked so hard to give us all a night to remember - free flowing drinks, great service and great food. They made sure we all had the lucky grapes and party hats, banners etc - amazing! Would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good food and fantastic service. Will definitely be back when we are next in Alicante.

10/10After having visited twice this restaurant, my experience has been very good every time, the food is fresh, flavorful, made from scratch. The foods are inspired from the italian cuisine, pizza and focaccia are made with surdough. If you really want something spanish they recently introduced the “arroz meloso de marisco” which we had today and it was delicious and full of flavors. This is a family owned restaurant, they made us feel very welcome, they provide a very attentive service, unlike many restaurants i visited in Spain. I highly recommend it!

9.5/10We dined on a Sunday night and found ourselves the only ones in the restaurant. The owner thoroughly explained the menu and wine list to us. We settled on the Mediterranean bites to share as a starter with Corvina and calamari for mains and both dishes excellent. Loved the carrots. Plenty of choice left so hope to return in the next fortnight.

9.5/10Wonderful food. The best gnocchi I have tasted outside of Florence. Amazing seafood risotto. All our party enjoyed their food and wine. The service was lovely...friendly and attentive. The large open windows enhanced the stunning views across the marina to the castle. Our best meal în Alicante. Highly recommended. We will return on our next visit back. Wishing the owners and staff all the very best and thank you for looking after us so well.
