Everything from start to finish was incredible.

We booked well in advance but upon arrival were greeted by a rather surly gentleman. Very rude staff, shown to a table inside at the back of the empty restaurant. Upon asking if we could sit outside we were told all tables outside were reserved. To cut a long story short we said thank you and left. Every cloud, found a fabulous and welcoming restaurant close by

Excellent wine pairing, billtong starter is a must. Caramelized apples did make for a great ending.

Absolutely fantastic from start to finish! Creative well balanced and flavourful dishes, knowledgeable and fantastic service by all members of staff and we even got to meet the chef. Special evening we will remember.

What contributed most to our positive experience was our server. She was charming. She did not speak much English--allowing us to try out our bad Italian on her. We were the first diners of the night, so the service was especially good. The restaurant is rather new and very nicely decorated in a modern and attractive style. Our reserved table was clearly chosen for us to provide the best atmosphere. I faced the bar, which is very pretty. Our bad Italian earned us an English version of the menu, which was not overwhelming. Our fellow diners were obviously locals (or at least Italians), which is a good sign. I felt it important to try some pasta and was not disappointed in the pumpkin/sage cappelletti. The cutlet and fried potatoes were also very good. The local salad was a bowl of very fresh greens dressed only in oil. My husband was satisfied with everything he ordered. It was our first meal on this trip to Italy, so we have nothing to compare it to, but I highly recommend Darcy.

Amazing food and service. Simple dishes but done to perfection. Would recommend to anyone visiting Bologna!

Excellent and creative food, adding a new twist to classic dishes. Really loved the summer parmigiana and zuppa inglese. Lovely terrace under a traditional portico. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. A perfect dinner

The food and service were excellent. Really good menu choice. Wine list was superb and pricing very fair. A brilliant place to go in central Bologna.

Starter was fine, if standard cold cuts platter. But the mains were very poor. The restaurant has no atmosphere at all and is extremely overpriced.

Service was excellent, very attentive. This is personal opinion I suppose but I felt the lasagne lacked ragu and was quite dry. Wine selection was extensive

The tonnato dish was not a vitello tonnato as I had experienced during my years of living in Bologna 1960-1966. I did order vitello tonnato over my many visits to Italy and some do not serve it in the traditional way that I knew. Was this tonnato a vitello tonnato$2 The service was very good and all the other food selections were well prepared. Best wishes to the staff.

We had gnocchi, zucchini flowers, Lambrusco for the perfect lunch. Anna, our server took great care of us with just the right suggestions. If you dine outside it can be a bit noisy with busses but other than that, the food was expertly prepared with careful attention to detail, artfully creative, with gourmet flair, fresh ingredients, along with an air of simplicity. This is a new restaurant so there are only a few reviews but don’t let that fool you. It’s a gem to discover.

The restaurant served delicious food and the server was polite and kind. The outdoor seating is on a busy street with busses and scooters constantly roaring by so I would choose to eat indoors next time. It took at least 3 requests to receive our check/pay and the 20% discount was not applied. Oh well.

Nice ambience, friendly staff, ribs were good but too fatty. Pate great, lasagna I bit too creamy and may need a touch more regu, buuuut perhaps the chef isn't a smoke like us and can taste the salt better. Wine was fresh and lovely! Only issue was service was slow. Alot of people waiting on just the menu.

Through the frosted glass we could see the chiefs working diligently to create beautiful dishes of the very highest quality. Every dish served was sublime! Service was efficient. Wine was excellent. A solid choice right in the centre of town. Strongly recommended.

That was amazing experience. The service was brilliant. Waiter explained us menu and seasonal offers. The good was delicious and we also got special gift from the chef.

We were recommended by the local Enoteca Dioniso and it was truly wonderful. The staff were so friendly, knew the menu back to back as well as the specials. They made the evening for us. The food is outstanding and if we could go back for the other dishes we would. The Barman made us cocktails off the top of his head which were delicious! Cannot recommend Darcy enough for a special night out for both locals or visitors

We thought the food was outstanding , every dish of the five course tasting menu was superb! Andrea, our waiter, was attentive and explained each dish very well. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. The interior of the restaurant is modern and elegant. A brilliant evening
