A wonderful cozy sicilian restaurant in the heart of Ortigia with great vibe and amazing food. Food is art - plate, vision, quality in a perfect harmony. A delicious memorable experience!

The fish of the day (sea bass) was perfectly cooked, as were the vegetables with it. The caponata starter was also lovely. Very good, fresh food, cooked perfectly, with good service.

Having eaten at over a dozen restaurants in Ortigia over the last week, I rank Davè as the best of them. Service, food and wine quality, and ambience are outstanding. Pricing is reasonable. My wife and I greatly enjoyed our experience there. We are still dreaming about the beef carpaccio with truffle, the lamb chops, and the canoli.

We’ve been in Ortigia all week, and last night’s dinner at Dave was by far the best all around experience we’ve had. Absolutely delicious!

Wonderful staff and great recommendations for wine and food! I started with the octopus appetizer and then had their NZ lambs chops done to a perfect temperature. The vegetables served were the best I have tasted…recipe?

Quiet spot in Ortigia with good ambience. The service was good and we were made to feel welcome. The food was great, tasty, interesting and great salads. Plenty to enjoy and good value considering the quality of the food. Wine and coffee all added to the enjoyment.

Sitting outside in this beautiful space while the staff presented our outstanding meals helped us to enjoy our last evening in Sicily. The food, the staff and Al fresco dining was wonderful.

I’m not one to leave reviews usually but I couldn’t fault this place. Service, food and restaurant was excellent. I’d go back and that’s unusual for me. Not over fancy but definitely a step up from the regular restaurants.

The food, impeccable. The flavors blended marvelously, and the freshness of the ingredients could not be beat. Service was excellent as well. Five out of five stars absolutely we eat there again!

Tucked away in a little square, great little place, you feel you discovered. Food excellent wine recommended perfect and good value to.

It was my favourite meal in Sicilia! The absolute classics done right! Service was excellent. I loved the upscale and yet down-home vibe! Highly recommend!
