10/10Sitting outside in this beautiful space while the staff presented our outstanding meals helped us to enjoy our last evening in Sicily. The food, the staff and Al fresco dining was wonderful.

10/10I’m not one to leave reviews usually but I couldn’t fault this place. Service, food and restaurant was excellent. I’d go back and that’s unusual for me. Not over fancy but definitely a step up from the regular restaurants.

10/10This was our fourth restaurant in Sicily so far and it was by far the best. First, the ambiance is absolutely divine: classy, quiet, and chic yet warm. The food was outstanding. We had among other things the caponata, a salad with strawberries, almonds, and arugula, the fresh pasta with courgettes flowers, a creamy type of cheese, and anchovies (fabulous), and the fresh tuna (entree) with a honey mustard sauce. My husband had a dessert consisting of a small cheesecake surrounded by fruit, which was also delicious. The service was excellent.

8/10The food was well presented and tasty if not exceptional, The waiter was friendly and knowledgable. The menu provided a good choice and there was a fine selection of wines, The restaurant was busy with several people turned away as they had not booked. The bill was reasonable. Service overall was good albeit a little slow.

10/10The food was fresh, local and beautifully cooked. I had fried anchovies for entree and red tuna for mains. The tuna was amazingly tender. A great list of Sicilian wines, even though none were listed by the glass I was offered a glass of stunning local red. The staff were knowledgeable about the food and wine and worked hard to meet your needs and preferences. Lovely outside eating area, on the street but they’d used lots of greenery to make a relaxing pretty ambience.

9.5/10Dave is one of the most consistently delicious restaurant we've been to in Ortegia and we've been three times in the past six months. Interesting, innovative dishes - especially the pistachio deserts! - and knowledgeable and pleasant staff. Wonderful wine list. Bravo!

7.5/10I was asked whether the beef should be medium or medium rare and stressed medium. It was raw. Only grilled seconds on both sides and quality just OK. I did not complain as I do not want my food carried forth and back and it should have been cooked to the liking in the first place.
