Went for our 10th wedding anniversary. Incredible from beginning to end. Seasonal vegetables made sublime by the chef, inventive combinations and sauces, beautifully presented. Service was top notch, from the comments on the courses to the wine recommendation. Absolutely perfect evening.

Impressive food, subtle balance and combination in all of the presentations from De La Reine tasting menu , really amazing dinning experience in a small and cozy ambient , and ,if you are lucky enough , with a view to the cooking brigade in a perfect ballet . Although the service took an initial slow motion to start ,the timing was perfect afterwards, The explanation of the dishes and the wines served sometimes was hard to understand. Room to improve in the wine pairing, wines sometimes not in balance with the menu quality, quantity also small, one red wine was forgotten , prices of wine per glasses steep, as well it would be nice to mention the price of the trou Normand when offering it .

+1The challenge of highly creative (multi star Michelin) restaurants such as this is the “deliciousness factor”. They can be interesting, gorgeous, creative, ingenious combinations etc,…yet they are often not delicious. Unfortunately David Toutain falls into this category. We both enjoyed the meal and marveled at different aspects yet none of the dishes stood out as being delicious. More analytic interesting than deeply satisfying. On the other hand the desserts were delicious.

We were very happy to be able to visit this 2 star restaurant for lunch. The servers were pleasant and friendly. The dishes were very interesting, with a mix of traditional and more modern sensibilities, and it was a nice touch to receive the menu at the end of the meal, which many restaurants have stopped doing. It was good value for money, especially for lunch,

Food was good and service was fast. However upstairs is hot, service was not great as did not offer drinks by the glass, and overall attitude of service could be kinder and more happy

I always wonder what the hype was regarding Michelin dining. I have had incredible meals all over the world… this was our first Michelin experience. Amazing food, wonderful wine pairings… a true dining experience… the service was incredible and the night magical. Thank you for a wonderful experience. And for those who state… I would never do that because you go away hungry… no way! We had a hard time finishing all of the courses.

Excellent restaurant! Incredible deserts and good services! Don't expect a lot of meat, the restaurant is about vegetables and fresh produce. Everything was perfect!

A creative, vegetable centric multi course meal. Everything was good but, given the price, we were surprised that more high-end ingredients were not used. The wine list is very good, and the prices are in many cases quite reasonable.

The food was very good, creative and wonderfully presented and served, a little too exaggerated to rustic and natural presentation. The service was very good but there was a Supervisor or a Service Manager that was out of place, aggressive and stranded near our table talking in rude voice with other clients. He did our evening NOT PLEASANT. Rude and out of place!,,

David Toutain does not disappoint, and is a must spot each time I visit Paris. We were very late showing up for our lunch as a result of Para Olympics traffic restrictions, and they were very understanding.

It was fine given it's 2-star rating. The wine pairing was not impressive, tiny pours and severely overpriced. Coursing was inconsistent, was either out quickly or 30 minute delays between each. Could have had better explanations regarding each course. Lots of food, you won't leave hungry, but not worth $1,100 for 2 people, at all. Wonderful, nice, and polite staff.

The single best meal I've had since my first trip to France 49 years ago! The presentation is extraordinary, but, unlike too many restaurants, no taste or texture is sacrificed to achieve beauty.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at David Toutain's restaurant for lunch, and it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. The servers were not only attentive but also very engaging, taking the time to converse with us in a genuine and friendly manner. It never felt rushed, which made our dining experience all the more enjoyable. The food was nothing short of spectacular. Each plate was a work of art, both in presentation and taste. The flavors were complex and delightful, making every bite a memorable experience. The natural ambiance and decor of the restaurant added to the overall charm, creating a relaxing and elegant atmosphere. However, I must mention a minor drawback that slightly marred the experience. During our meal, we noticed a few small flies and, to our dismay, a very small cockroach. While this was an isolated incident and didn't overshadow the fantastic service and food, it was a bit off-putting. Overall 9.5 out of 10!

Phenomenal food with incredible attention to freshness, seasonality, and detail. The service started strong but slowed at the end, forcing dinner to drag on longer than needed. It appeared other customers were having a similar challenge in getting their check delivered and paid. The wine pairing, while good, was quite small in quantity for the price - barely a gulp with each serving. The cost was above average, even for this level of restaurant. Overall a good meal and experience, but not a great value for the money (among similar restaurants).

The Chef was a genius and the 10 course meal was a culinary tour de force. The food was special and original and the presentation was magnificent. I enjoyed watching Monsieur Toutain through the window which was a nice addition and he seemed to work calmly and effectively with his staff in the kitchen. However the disconnect was the wait service service. The staff were professional but robotic. There was no joy. They did not want to share the wine pairing insights or food insights. They were mechanical and did not take joy in sharing insights into the food that would have made the diner's experience incomparable.

The best dining experience my wife and I have ever had. Inventive and creative cuisine. We had over 25 'dishes' during lunch and they did not miss once. Ate at a few other Michelin star restaurants in Paris and DT blew them out of the water. An excqusite experience, when I come back to Paris I would love to see what the dinner is like. 100/100, the perfect meal. Honored to have eaten there.
