A party of six of us after a local show, and the food was, as always, excellent. The fish tandoori and the butter chicken are real standouts, and the food is not only excellent quality but very nicely priced too - around €25 per person, including drinks, and a complimentary liqueur to finish! The staff are great - very attentive and fun guys - ask for Bobby!!

Food was lovely as usual. We had booked on the fork but when we arrived there wasn’t a table for us and they had to clear one by the door which didn’t close properly and was therefore a little cold.

Good food, nice staff, however the pricing is a bit high for the 6-8 pieces of chicken that you get so that is the only complaint.

This restaurant never lets us down. The food is always delicious and top quality. The staff are amazing, they always remember how we like our dishes. All of our friends say the same thing. Thanks again for another special evening.

We met with friends who love Indian food but haven’t been impressed with Indian restaurants in Tavira until now. They were really impressed with the quality of food, the friendly and professional service that Dawat offers. We are happy that they enjoyed the experience as we love this restaurant. This was our second visit to this outstanding Indian Establishment. I had made a reservation for my parents and I on 07/09/2025 for dinner. We were warmly welcomed by our server who was our server from our first visit in July. We started off with the pickle tray, papadam & onion bhaji, truly a masterpiece of different flavors. now to our entrees, my mother had chicken vindaloo, she absolutely enjoyed it, a nice tingling spiced dish, my father had lamb with mushrooms, he enjoyed it, I had my all time favorite dish, Tandoori chicken, a remarkable dish, tender bone in chicken marinated and grilled to perfection, served with onions and peppers on a sizzling skillet. The three of us shared a saffron rice, delicious and we had chili garlic naan, perfect balance. I ended it with Pistachio Kulfi ice cream, made in house, must try! Mr. Dawat and his staff are spectacular! As a Culinarian Foodie I Highly Recommened Dawat Indian Restaurant! Tell them Charlie sent ya!
