9/10It was a nice experience. We loved the fact that we cooked our meat to our liking. The meat was very tender & tasty. The service was very efficient & helpful

8/10Quality was good to better than good. But getting a hot rock at your table to cook basically all menu items is a bit much. This is a gimmick restaurant that does it right. Should offer more items that are not cooked on a hot rock. Service was good but not quite up to American standards for fine dining.

10/10A great restaurant! As the name suggests you cook your meat on a hot stone at your table.We ate here several times and had fabulous succulent steaks! The process is explained clearly to you and service is excellent. Very reasonably priced for such high quality.

8/10Went as a group of 8 for a birthday meal . Felt a bit rushed . We hadn’t been informed that as a group of 8 we could only have the 3 course set menu which was quite limited . The food was good and we had a good time

8/10Cute little restaurant, the steak was tasty. It’s neat to cook it yourself on the hot stone. The menu is a little limited as far as starters and sides. I would have liked more choices. The fries were like perfectly cooked potato wedges. Portions were on the small side.

6/10The restaurant is a popular one , very busy anytime so make sure to book a table. Good experience was ok , but the combination with the fries are a little bit frugal. Service was very fast and we felt like they were rushing us out.

10/10Food and atmosphere were great. The food was cooked on hot stones at the table. You have to remove it when it is cooked to your liking. The steaks were not seasoned prior to them coming out, so I recommend adding some salt and pepper while cooking.

8/10Waitresses were brilliant. Really struggled with the fact you paid premium price and had to cook the meat yourself. Admittedly we should have done our research, but as we weren’t big cookers ourselves we felt like we didn’t get the best of our premium paid food. Other than that, everything was brilliant.

10/10Really enjoyed this lively little place. The staff were great at explaining the menu and how to cook the steak on the hot stone. We had the Aberdeen Angus steak and it was delicious. A great meal and very good value.

10/10There are a ton of steak houses in Amsterdam. Most are clones of each other and average at best. This restaurant is something special. The wait staff makes everyone feel welcome and truly seem to care about the customer. You really feel like you are among friends. The steaks come on a hot stone and the quality of the meat is superior to the other steak houses in Amsterdam that I’ve tried it’s not even close. This was my second visit and I’m already looking forward to next time. Do yourself a favor and pass by the numerous Argentinian clones and come here. Considering the quality of the food and the service this is a real bargain and an experience rather than just another meal. Fair prices. Great staff. Excellent quality. Top notch.

10/10Really enjoyed both the food and the service at this resturant. Recommend the waffle with Nutella and ice scream. Staff were very helpful, even moving us to a window seat when one became free.

10/10Great find but a heads up they do not open until 14:00. It’s dark and looks vacant until they open. The sign reads differently than the restaurant. Just look for “Day’s” We had cocktails next door at Koeplecafe then popped over to the grill for our 14:30 reservation. It’s lovely with nice wine, great steaks with good options for everyone.

9.5/10Everything went as expected. Staff was very friendly and helpful, food was great, service was fast (if you want the food to arrive a bit slower just ask the staff), and pricing was clearly stated and fair for Amsterdam Center. We were a group of 11 people and all were happy. Very much recommend to visit here when in Amsterdam, we know we'll be back.

10/10Great, friendly atmoshere with smily, kind staff. We loved the mixed grill and the tuna steak. One of our family member is vegan and on glutenfree diet and the Day's stone team proposed a very delicious vegetable dish.Wine list was also perfect to choose. We all enjoyed our dinner! Thanks++++

6/10We spent 3 days in Amsterdam and were looking for the best steakhouse, so when I saw this was ranked so highly I didn’t hesitate to make the booking. It wasn’t bad but it certainly didn’t live up to expectations. The sirloin was chewy, very average tasting. My wife had ribs, which were warm at best. We ate at the Intel hotel the next night, had steak and it was miles better!

10/10This restaurant is a must visit when in Amsterdam! Their stone-grilled beef steak is a must-try, cook as how you wish to have it. And the desserts$2 Exceptional! We had the tiramisu and waffle ice cream which complete our dinner for the day with a cup of coffee. The cozy ambiance and attentive service make it a top-notch dining spot.
