The food was of excellent quality; if you like the Dutch stampot or hutspot you can't get better than this. The service was very friendly and welcoming, and food arrived very quickly after ordering.

Visiting Amsterdam, my group and I wanted a Dutch dinner before our trip ended. One in the party arrived first and was able to sit down, but they weren’t offered water for 20 minutes. No waiter stopped by. Soon, the other two in the party arrived and we had to get the attention of another waiter after another 10 minutes to order. Between the three of us, two ordered from menu 1 (which has the Stamppot — which was highly recommended) and one of us ordered from menu 2. A little bit unbeknownst to us, the waiter brought out three menu 1 items (so, three Stamppots — and one of them was the wrong one). The food was great but we didn’t want to make another fuss about it. So overall the food was great but the service was questionable. It’s possible we caught the restaurant or waiters on a non-ideal day

Good reliable Dutch food. Friendly personnel. In a busy tourist area, every restaurant is competing for tourist tastebuds. A shame that the interior dull, not well lit and that the hard wooden seats were so uncomfortable. I presume that this is the business model, i.e., turnaround tables fast and don't encourage people to stay and really enjoy the reason they came, to taste typical Dutch cuisine!
