The restaurant was a very pleasent surprise, the neighbourhood around is nothing spacial, but the restaurant and castle are very nice and the atmosphere is relaxed, you eat sourranded by nature. Food was excellent and service very kind and efficent. We will come back for sure!

The following is not so good! They ask extra money with many diner options, no menu cart and no rate cart. The have two menu options. But menu is not cheap.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and the service was great. I could really appreciate the small details like the presentation of the dishes. We will definitely come back here! the best restaurant in Dordrecht in my opinion!

Excellent atmosphere and amazing dishes. We had the 3 course chef's menu, which had a great variety of flavours and ingredients (fish and beef). Restaurant is situated next to a castle, which was beautifully lit at night, very romantic. The focus seems to be on smaller dishes with a higher complexity, so do not expect huge plates. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful location, very friendly host, food is a bit ‘predictable’ and misses flavor. We had a main course with red wine sauce, but the amount of sauce was certainly not enough and the vegetables were over cooked. Decomposed apple pie desert didn’t make sense, who puts yoghurt ice in their apple pie? Vanilla or Cinnamon ice would have been the obvious choice, and I didn’t get the ‘our chef has decomposed apple pie, but you should eat it with a bit of everything on each spoon’.. value for money was ok, but with a little more effort/skills in the kitchen this could have been much better. Host was a very friendly man that did his best to entertain and talk about the wines he served.

We were the only two guests that night. We had the Iens three course set menu. It was nice and goof value for money. The wines were fine but the water was ridiculously priced (6 euro for tap water). Stop that nonsense. All in all we had a nice evening, the waiter did a great job.
