I had delicious dinner with beer Affligem. The dessert Tiramisu was also yummy; kindness of the staff made me glad. Thank you so much for your interest and hospitality.

The food is was delicious!

The chef/owner takes such pride in his creations. I’ve had the lamb shank many times, it’s always perfectly done, wonderful fresh vegetables underneath, and a rich sauce accompaniment.

Easy access from our hotel, and is a neighborhood restaurant. The food and the service were very good. The kind chief brings out 4 different types of desserts for us to tried, all were delicious. Will definitely go back again. 3 course⁹1k

We were looking for a casual night out, nothing too fancy, nothing too cheap. De kleine Kapitein far exceeded our expectations. It serves true to the "Mediterranean cuisine with Dutch sobriety". The meals were thought through and delicious. See you soon:)

Great food and wine selection. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Had the ribeye steak and vegetables. It was fantastic. I would eat here again

The food was really good. We had the Burger and it was delicious. Best of all was the stuff. Friendly and Kind. Thank you for a nice evening. We really enjoyed our visit.

We had such a great experience at this little neighborhood restaurant! The service was great, the presentation is f the food was beautiful, and the food itself was delicious! What puts it over the top though, is that the chef always comes out and interacts with his customers. He makes it a personal experience!

Cozy atmosphere chef delivers good quality food, They are honest in saying that some dishes are outsold, so that means you get fresh food. The menu leaves good and original dishes so there are good alternatives. This was a busy Monday so had to wait a little longer for the dishes than usual but it’s worth waiting while waiting they serve amuses that’s a good thing.

Cozy restaurant with good dishes nearby NH hotel, I ate there with friends. Chef was welcoming us with entrees and a nice desert. Had a good time. Try the IJ-beer!

The food was really good and seasoned well. The server was very friendly and kind too. They were busy so we’re glad we made a reservation. Will go back and try the chef’s menu next time.

Absolutely an amazing culinary experience! Super friendly and attentive staff who knew exactly what our taste in wine was! As for the food... oh dear... what a treat!!! Chef Hassan El Katawy is a brilliant master of his trade serving his dishes to perfection.
