10/10Best Thai restaurant in Amsterdam the owner is still there after 36 years and he is the reason it’s a success. Food is incredible the ambience so nice and the service is very friendly and professional.

10/10We fell upon this restaurant when we were looking for another place when in Amsterdam last year. It was so good we had to come back and eat here again this time. The food is excellent and service too. Authentic and delicious and very reasonably priced. We will be back again! The Mallin clan

9/10Some of the best Thai food I have ever eaten. Really delicious. Four of us dined together and shared a variety of apps and main courses. The pad Thai was a standout with its smokey notes and plump shrimp.

9/10The food was very delicious authentic Issan food. The service was excellent but the wait was way too long . If you have the time - as we did - to sit and soak up the atmosphere of Amsterdam and enjoy great Thai food when it eventually comes, this is the place for you !

7/10Very good food and lovely setting, it took 15 minutes from arrival for anyone to come and take our drinks order and give us any menus. They had also ran out of cold beers which was odd. Quality of food was great so maybe better to have an earlier booking?

4.5/10Nothing special , we stated ordering at 7:30 and we left the restaurant at 10pm it took too long to get the starters and again very long to get the mains … also we got served in parts 2 persons finished and then came 2 mains and the last person ended up eating alone.. service can be improved a lot and is not even a Friday .. I could Not imagine it during the weekend …. Food not bad but very average.

10/10I can be quick; great food with fresh ingredients, nice, almost authentic atmosphere and good, friendly service. All this dowtown Amsterdam; I can only suggest people to go here and enjoy a fantastic meal

6.5/10Really nice food, one of the nicer Thai restaurants I have eaten at in Amsterdam, however the service was really poor. Waitress and owner were friendly, but it took almost two hours for us to receive our main courses. When I asked the waitress why she told us the kitchen staff were fighting with each other?! Also the table next to us were far too noisy (couldn't hear ourselves talk), and the owner just shrugged it off.

10/10I have been coming to this restaurant for many years, and I was very pleased to find that it had survived. I had an excellent meal, Tom Yum Kah, and Phad Thai with prawns. The Phad Thai was very generous, and very good, straight from the pan. The prices were reasonable, 42Euro for the meal, with two glasses of adequate white wine, and jasmine tea. I was very pleased to see that they still have nice flower arrangements between the tables. A nice touch. Service was a little slow, because there were only two staff, the manager, and the cook. They did well in the circumstances. The manager said they just can't get staff, a universal problem, and he was turning customers away. I hope they survive. Its a very nice atmosphere inside.

8.5/10The food was great, absolutely stunning. The location is good and sitting outside is really nice. My only "point of critique" would be that the gentleman who runs the restaurant (NOT the very nice waiter) was a bit weird. He had me show my reservation (never got it?) and then I had to wait for my table and we had to discuss which table I could get. I could have done without all of that, after all, that's the point of doing a reservation. But again: I would absolutely come back. The food was terrific!!

7/10Second time here. The food is reasonable and in our opinion a bit overpriced. Not the best service of the world but still, they have nice tables outside where you can sit and enjoy the Amsterdam atmosphere next to the canal.
