We went here on a recommendation and had a most wonderful evening of filet of sole, lobster and celery soup and several shots of ginavere. The host was a wonderful gentlemen who made sure we were comfortable and well tended. If you have the opportunity, you must try this place

Given the prices and description, we expected a 'fine dining' experience. Nothing could be further from the truth. The good part: the ordered food was quite good. But everything else did not fit the expectation: laminated plastic placemats and paper napkins, very noisy, cold bread straight from LIDL pre-baked, with insufficient butter. Cramped seating arrangements (to get to or from my table, I had to ask another diner to move her chair away from her table and then I could just squeeze between the table and the railing), One waiter was nice, polite and informative, but the others we encountered were simply rude or uncaring. No mobile PIN: to pay I not only had to go to the counter, but all the way behind the bar. For a bill well over E70pp, I expected better.

It is amazing and unique restaurant. Workers are very friendly and helpful also food was delicious. For sure I will be back there. I can recommend that restaurant for 100%.

We had a great time here. The food was crafted well and very tasty; we could have selected many items from the menu. We had fish and it was delicious. Spent lots of time chatting to the very personable staff; a memorable evening; thank you.

Loved it. The food was excellent and eating in a windmill was great fun. Definitely recommended. I had the mustard soup, duck and crepes, all were delicious.

Classic French cuisine. Good quality in a pleasant environment. The windmill when in operation gives a special character to the location adjacent to a canal in Schiedam. The venison with classic sauce and vegetables was well prepared and presented. We will be back for more.

Good food, good vibes and hard-working and friendly staff. Wide variety of different type of eat and fish. Few vegetarian options and a small selection of beers. Good ambiance!

A wonderful restaurant built inside a windmill in Schiedam. The staff is always kind and care about the customers. The fish is fresh and really good. Worth a visit!

The host was extremely friendly, food was absolutely delicious! We were able to watch the sunset from the window on the second floor; I got some really good pictures of the canal. The host offered to take pictures of me and my friend as well, saying “it’s not often you’re in a windmill.” Great experience!

Server was very attentive, but food took a while to come out, even though there were only two parties of 3 in the whole restaurant We didn't order appetizers, so no food until the entrees... not even bread. Portions were a bit small for the price, but very delicious. It's a novelty to eat in a windmill, so you're paying for the atmosphere too.
