My wife and I went for dinner. We can definitely recommend the Chateaubriand, cooked to perfection, one of the best we ever ate. The place is very small, so everyone is sitting quite close to each other, but that’s not a real problem. Lighting could be a bit cozier.

The ambience- the staff and the FOOD! From grilled shrimp to mix meat kabobs, sirloin and salad, followed by Dame Blanche. SUPERB! Real furious fire cooks most meals while you watch the show! The space is intimate and the staff was superb! Would eat there again today if we were in Brugge! An A+! Make a reservation and go!

We have been to this restaurant a few times before the food is always very good , the cooking is done in front of you on a grill, we had the steak and salmon both meals were served with piping hot fries and a lovely salad they were both the best meals we have had in ages , the atmosphere was great filled with locals singing dancing and having a great time , we enjoyed the whole evening very much

A gem of a restaurant a little off the beaten track. Food was fantastic. I had the Flemish beef stew which was delicious. The beef had been slow cooked and it was incredibly tender. My husband had a T bone steak cooked in front of us and it was fabulous. I highly recommend this restaurant

We loved this restaurant. The 12 of us had a great time. Excellent service, delicious food in a traditional rustic restaurant. The size of the steaks ensured that we didn’t leave hungry. We’d definitely return on future trips

We had the chateaubriand for two people. It came with fries and a side salad. We also each had a beer and we got the bearnaise sauce to go with the steak. The bill was just under 100US$. The restaurant was cozy and the 2 guys running the front of the house were charming and took good care of us. The meals are simple--meats grilled over an opening flame right in the dining room. Wonderful and cozy on a coolish evening.

Food was delicious - we went back an additional time during our stay we loved it so much. We had shrimp with garlic as an appetizer and also as a meal on our 2nd visit. Lamb was perfectly cooked, and we also had a rib eye steak that was cooked and seasoned perfectly as well. Service and ambience was very nice - it’s a small place so suggest making a reservation, chef cooks your meal right in front of you on an open fire. A great find on our visit in Brugge.
