First time having a hotpot but we are Australians travelling Europe for six weeks so we’re just really after some spicy, oriental food and decided to give it a go. The service was excellent - they spoke great English and explained the process beautifully. Good wine choices and very reasonably priced. Well worth a look.

De Zhuang always hits the spot for us. The friendly staff, quality ingredients and comfortable environment make every gathering enjoyable and memorable. I recommend coming here with a group of friends or family for special occasions, but even without one... hotpot is always a special occasion!

Our second time here in less than a month. Traveling by Train to Rome makes it super easy and an amazing way to finish your time before hopping on the train. This time we took friends to enjoy - great way food and experience. We really like spicy - be careful on the spicy broth - level one is recommended even if you love spice, trust us. Two broth options is a good way to go - mushroom and spice. Highly recommend - less than 10 minute walk to the train station.

The food and the service were top-rate. We absolutely loved the whole experience. Fresh and delicious ingredients, savoury sauces made at the table, and incredible broths. Note: the spice level beyond level 1 is HOT HOT HOT. We love spicy Thai, Indian, Korean, etc. but prepare to sweat if you go beyond 1. I ordered a 4 out of 5 and they were kind enough to replace the broth with a 1. Phew!

Great place for hotpot. The food is of good quality and worth the price. The soup in particular is excellent! I also appreciate the staff who are patient with explaining how the ordering process works. Looking forward to returning!

Excellent food and service. This was our first time at hot pot and our server helped us make decisions and walked us through the process. She even made us two of her favorite sauces to try. So many food options and everything we had was excellent.

We live and work in Rome and when we were living in China we were spoiled with the various choices of Chinese Hotpots in Beijing. A student at our school here in Rome recommended De Zhuang and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
