10/10+3Wow, after two days of looking for good Sicilian food we finally found it. Everything we ordered was delicious. The staff were awesome. The ambience is great. The only issue is parking but it will not deter us from going back.

4.5/10We had pre booked a table however, after waiting a while and seeing others have their orders taken, we had to ask the waiter to come and take our order. We then had to wait a while again at the end to pay, eventually I went to the till however the waiter made an angry retort implying we were not patient…. Obviously spoiling the occasion. A couple of the other waiters however seemed more friendly.

9.5/10Prices are very reasonable. Menu options are different from most other restaurants. Food is very tasty with generous portions. There are indoor and outdoor seating options. My experience matched the great reviews that I found online. No disappointments! It filled up quickly after opening at 7:00 PM.

10/10This is a fantastic restaurant in the heart of Catania, across the square from the Cathedral. It serves hearty Sicilian dishes using fresh, local ingredients. We had a great tomato salad, potatoes in cheese sauce, salmon and swordfish followed by pistachio tiramisu which was a delight. Friendly and attentive staff, beautiful decoration and lights, warm atmosphere and great food. What's not to like?

7.5/10We ate inside because it was too humid outside. Therefore the ambiance was not very good/excellent. The eggplant parmigiana appetizer was great. The balance of our meal was also very good.

10/10Both the food and service were outstanding. Our group enjoyed a variety of cocktails and appetizers. The baked potato with three cheese fondue was delicious, as were the potato croquettes and bruschetta. All of our entrees were delicious as well. We would definitely go to Deliziosa again.

5/10Very poor service, not recommended. We've booked a table for our only dinner we had in Catania during our Sicily trip. It took 40 mins for the service to take our order since we got the menu and we had to call a person to do it, otherwise who knows. It did not improve since that, we had to wait for more than an hour and an half to get our main dish after we finished the starter. Unacceptable service, that's why I am giving one star review. No apologies were offered and it seemed like it's a normal behaviour for the restaurant. No quality of food can justify or compensate for this, and the quality was not higher than you can get in another place in Sicily. Would not recommend.

10/10The ambience was lovely, the staff was kind, attentive, and helpful with recommendations, the menu was very local, all the dishes looked amazing and tasted even better, the wine list was excellent. All in all, I plan to return to eat here the next time I will be in Catania.

9/10Had 2 nights at Deliziosa. Located right next to Teatro Antico Romano, we had a beautiful evening, romantic and cozy. Service was fast and precise, food was delicious. Great wines from Sicily at reasonable prices. A must try is their Faccazzie!

10/10I normally don’t like sitting outside but this restaurant broke that trend. Lovely little area and off the tourist path. The food, though, is the star. Everything we had was amazing. So much so that we went back a second time. Definitely recommended!!!

10/10The food and service was outstanding. They have a huge menu of starters, pasta, and even pizza . Every dish that passed our table looked so good. We chose 2 Sicilian specialties: pasta a la Norma made with paccheri pasta and Sicilian swordfish made with tomatoes, black olives,capers,raisins. Both were excellent and the portions were huge. Top that off with some Sicilian beer and an aperol spritz. It was a perfect meal and perfect end to the day. This restaurant definitely lives up to its name. Everything was so delicious . You definitely need to eat here but make a reservation as the restaurant fills up quickly.

7/10The food was lovely, the service was terrible. After waiting 30mins we didn't even have a menu despite sitting next to the entrance. We had to get up and ask for a menu, then wait another 10 mins for our drinks order to be taken despite lots of staff walking around. The food was really good but we won't be back,

9/10Food is absolutely delicious! You won't regret it. Service was unexpected not up to par, perhaps it's Saturday busy night but our appetizers didn't come until 50 min after we ordered them. The rest of the food came in ok on time after that.

10/10The Deliziosa experience was magnificent. Staff was very friendly, attentive and accommodating. We were a party of five, who wanted to try a little of everything. We ordered appetizers, primo dishes followed by secóndi. They brought the apps we ordered with dishes to share and changed the dishes after every course. Many Sicilian delicacies on the menu. I have to return to try more of them. The wine menu was also superb and quite reasonably priced. We would all go back again and again.

10/10Everything about Deliziosa was amazing! The location was wonderful, and we sat outside off the plaza in the back, which was secluded, romantic, and felt lovely. If dining at night, ask them to turn the porch light off! The staff was great— accommodating and funky and (we felt) representative of the delightful gritty edge of Catania. Oh, and the food? One of our best meals in our entire tour of Italy. The veal was generous and perfectly cooked. Our cheese and veggie board was top notch, and our pesto pasta was a vision. Go here! You won’t be disappointed.

9.5/10Really good food at reasonable prices. We over ordered. The portions were generous. Service was actually ratter too fast. Our main course arrived before we’d finished our starter! Booking essential to avoid queuing. Their version of “Norma” was delicious. Unfortunately no room for desserts.
